Congratulations to our life member, Don Alchin, for being recognised for his contribution to the swimming community over many years. Thankyou for everything you have done and continue to do.

Another fantastic weekend of swimming as a small group of our senior swimmers took a foray into the Masters Swim Vic State Championships. Some great PBs, bling to bring home and loads of fun. This event demonstrates that swimming really is a life long skill. What a privilege to watch a 96 yr old swimmer do an 8 second PB!! Something to aspire to.

All Juniors Congratulations

Congratulations to our 5 swimmers who represented themselves, our club and the district with great spirit at the All Junior Finals on the weekend. Congratulations to Sophie & Heath (debut semi-finalists), Penny, Isaac & Ivy who all raced fantastically at MSAC. Some great PBs were achieved and Isaac finished 2nd in freestyle & 3rd in the backstroke and butterfly finals!! 🏆 A fantastic effort. Thanks to Coach Charlie and Coach Abbey as well as the parents for supporting their swimmers on the big stage. Loads of fun had by all topped off with a fun team dinner enjoyed by all.

Is your child confident in the water and ready to take the next step in their swimming journey? Our FUN SWIM program is designed to introduce young swimmers to racing in a fun, supportive and engaging environment.

This program helps swimmers build confidence, learn race skills and experience the excitement of swimming in a team setting — all while having fun in the pool!

• Learn and develop race-ready skills
• Build confidence and technique

• Perfect for swimmers aged 7–12
• Opportunities to continue with squad training

Ovens and Murray District Swimming Association Inc

Well, what a weekend!!

We had a fun and successful weekend at the Ovens and Murray District Swimming Association Inc Championships in Wangaratta!

So many great swims, PBs, medals and smiles all round.

Thanks to Wangaratta Amateur Swimming Club for hosting a successful event and we even managed to escape the weather.

Congratulations to our Vic Countries Team!!

Three days of fantastic swims, PBS and loads of fun inbetween. Congrats to Abbey & Jack who just missed the final for their IMs. Great job swimmers & big thanks to the support crew who transported tents, drove & did multiple trips to the supermarket to keep everyone fuelled up. Special mention to Coach Charlie whose commitment, both as a swimmer in her own right and coach to our swimmers, is such that her family joined the crew once again.
We look forward to doing it all again for short course in Traralgon.
