Some of Belgium’s best climbers going head-to-head, with a packed hall watching closely as the finals unfolded.

PRACTICAL INFO
• Come on time! Especially for waves 2 & 3, we recommend arriving around 1 hour beforehand.
• Come by bike if possible — parking might be limited.
• Install the Griptonite app before arriving.
• Leave your valuables at home.
• Spectators are welcome. Please take off your shoes when entering the gym.
• No food or drinks in the gym please. (A non-glass bottle with water is allowed). We have a nice bar and there will be a food truck.

12u30 – 15u30: Fred Blunt

Backed by years of experience behind the decks, Belgian DJ and producer Fred Blunt effortlessly glides between house, tech, and electro. He’s drawing inspiration from a wide range of icons—from James Brown & A Tribe Called Quest to Jeff Mills. Expect an energetic mix where nineties influences meet fresh, contemporary sounds.

15u30 – 19u00: Benny Breaks

Benny Breaks is a Ghent-based DJ and producer with a love for groove-driven electronic music.
His sets move between old-school breaks, disco, house, UK bass and contemporary club sounds, bringing together energetic rhythms and unexpected combinations.
He already joined us behind the decks for the Walden Boulder Jam & a Walden Session — we’re happy to have him back for the Walden Open!

19u00 – … : Heavy Tuna
A familiar face behind the decks at Walden. With 15+ years of DJing experience, Heavy Tuna moves between house, funk, UK garage and drum & bass, always with one goal: keeping the energy up. After playing several Walden events, he’s back to set the soundtrack for the Walden Open, including the finals.
