Winter is booking up. Fast. ⏳

Every year the same story: the calendar fills, riders wait until spring, and we end up saying “no” more than we’d like.

Because winter isn’t the off-season for bike fitting, it’s the season:

→ Position changes need adaptation time. Adjust now, arrive dialed in at your first spring goal.
→ Indoor training is brutally honest. A fixed position on the trainer exposes every saddle issue and asymmetry you’ve been ignoring since summer.
→ That “small” ni**le from last season? Fix it now, not mid-training block in April.
→ New bike planned? Get measured first. Buy the right size, not the almost-right size.

One rider at a time, full biomechanical analysis, thermal imaging, laser alignment, EMG, spinal analysis. That’s why slots are limited. And why they go fast.

📅 Winter slots open now -> send us a dm for more info.

Small changes. Big difference.

Millimetres decide comfort. ✅
Millimetres decide efficiency. 🧠
Millimetres decide performance.🔥

It’s the same process we use when working with WorldTour riders and supporting the performance team behind Lotto-Intermarché throughout the Tour de France™

Aerodynamic positioning, contact points to sEMG muscle activation and NIRS oxygenation, every adjustment is measured. Every decision has a reason.

The fastest position isn’t always the lowest.
It’s the one you can actually sustain.

Ride your best position. Move Better and pedal further.🍀

Isaac Del Toro Romero lost 2 minutes to a mechanical. Then he won the stage. Here’s why that’s a bikefit story.🔬

Stage 2, Tour de France. 60 km to go, 3× Montjuïc still ahead and his bike gives up. His own team cars drive straight past him. Mechanics from rival teams get him rolling again. 🤝

Then the detail everyone missed:

🚲 He didn’t finish the race on his team’s aero flagship. He got back on his own spare: the V5Rs he trains on every day. Lighter by 450 g, sharper handling, seven sizes instead of five, a cockpit that can actually be fitted to him.

🧮 “But the aero bike is 16 watts faster!” Sure, at 50 km/h. Drag scales with speed³. At 20 km/h on a 14% ramp, that claim shrinks to about one single watt. The aero maths is a wash. The confidence isn’t.

⏱️ Two minutes down. Sixty kilometres of chasing, paced by Politt. Back in a front group of 40. First over the line, with Tadej Pogačar patting him on the back. 🏆

The lesson nobody puts on a spec sheet: his spare fit like his first bike, because it was set up as one. -identical.

Four rules from one race:
1️⃣ One position: every bike, millimetre-identical
2️⃣ Train the fit: race what your body knows
3️⃣ Fit > spec >comfort beat 16 claimed watts
4️⃣ Blueprint it — a fit report travels with you

Is your spare, trainer or winter bike set to the same coordinates? Or are you riding a stranger’s? 📐

Save this for your next bike swap.🔖

The new Tarmac SL9 dropped this month. We read the entire manual so you don’t have to.🔬📖

Specialized retired “aero” and “light” as selling points. The new metric: ⏱️ *time to finish.* Here’s what actually matters —

⚖️ The frame weighs **687 g**. All that new aero shaping: the narrower Speed Sniffer head tube, the Win Fin, the deeper fork, cost exactly **2 grams** over the SL8. Two. 🪶

💨 It’s **+4 W faster at 45 km/h**. Sounds like nothing? That’s **73 seconds over a Monument** 🏁 Specialized’s own sim says Vollering wins the ‘24 Tour de France Femmes on this bike instead of losing it by 4 seconds. 🏆

🧮 Do the math: €13,999 ÷ 687 g ≈ **€20 per gram of frame**. Saffron costs €11. 💸

🔧 The UDH derailleur bolt is **left-hand threaded at 25 Nm**. Tag a mechanic who learned that one the hard way. 😅

📐 But here’s the part nobody’s talking about: the spec sheet finally reads like a fit report. **Shorter cranks** (165–175 mm) 🦵, **narrower bars** (380–440 mm) 🤏, a **pressure-mapped 3D-printed saddle** 🖨️ — stock. What fitters have measured for years is now factory standard.

⚠️ One catch: a 4 W frame gain vanishes inside a 20 W position loss. The fastest upgrade still isn’t in the catalogue — it’s how you sit on it. 🚴‍♂️

**Get fitted first. Then buy.** ✅

🔖 Save this for your next bike day. →

DUTCH NATIONAL TIME-TRIAL CHAMPION - Huub Artz 🇳🇱

Two years ago we started reworking his position. On the road and against the clock. What followed: countless measurements, a stack of clean data, and a rider who stayed sharp, grateful and relentlessly precise. We pushed each other to a higher level, and last week, the finishing touch: the national time-trial title.🍀

A few numbers from his peak-20 (and trust us, this isn’t all of it)😮
• 397 W normalised power💥
• 5.47 W/kg 🫣
• 52.9 km/h average, topping out at 64.2😳

A position like that isn’t built on feel. We work with NIRS (muscle oxygenation), thermal imaging, high-precision IMU sensors and EMG, until we can see exactly when and where a leg redlines, and tune the position around it.

Congratulations, Huub Artz . On to the next. 🙏🏻

It’s a scorcher in Belgium right now. And your saddle area feels it too. ☀️🥵🥵

Heat + sweat + hours in the saddle is the perfect recipe for chafing and saddle sores. How to protect your “butt health” this summer:

🔺Sweat softens skin and adds friction. Friction + pressure = saddle sores. Wear a good pants bibshorts and take care of your bikefit.

🔸Watch the warning signs: redness, raw spots, stinging, or a tender lump. Don’t “ride through” it.

🔹Use chamois cream, wear clean, dry, breathable bibs, and get out of sweaty kit straight after your ride.

🔻Hydrate, and rinse off salt and bacteria as soon as you can.

‼️And the part most people skip: a proper bike fit. When your weight sits on your sit bones (not soft tissue)and your saddle height and tilt are right, you rub and overheat far less.

Did you know most saddle issues come from being assymetrical on the bike? 🧐

Stay cool and fresh! 🥶🥶

Knee pain isn’t weakness. It’s data.

The golden rule: Stop adapting to your bike. Make the bike adapt to you. 🫵🏼
