De tweede editie van de Flemish Open was weer absoluut de moeite. TC Racso bleek een fantastische locatie voor pickleball te zijn en alles was weer tot in de puntjes verzorgd door Pickleball Vlaanderen. Met maar liefst 8 Foxes-ploegen in de medailles was het ook sportief weer een succes voor ons kleine clubje 🦊

🇧🇪 WELCOME TO BATTLE OF THE LOWLANDS 🇳🇱

Early September, both Belgium and The Netherlands will go to Vietnam to compete at the Pickleball World Cup. But before they leave, we’re bringing both national teams together for one big celebration of pickleball: the very first Battle of the Lowlands.

And this is not just something to watch… this is something to be part of. 👀 During the day, pickleball players from all levels from Belgium and The Netherlands can compete themselves in an open doubles tournament on a unique location. After that, the spotlight moves to Center Court, where the 19+ and 50+ national teams will face each other in a real Belgium vs. Netherlands showdown.

🎯 What to expect:

🏓 Open men’s & women’s doubles tournament for all levels

🇧🇪🇳🇱 Players and supporters dressed in red and orange to represent their country

🏟️ A beautiful Center Court with stands and national team action

🔥 National teams (50+ & 19+) competing themselves in the Pickleball World Cup format: Singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles

🍻 Food, drinks, music, giveaways and a great party atmosphere

🎁 Great and cool prizes to win during the Belgium vs Netherlands matches

⛸️ A truly unique venue: a covered outdoor ice rink turned into a pickleball arena
