Life gets busy and we don't get to meet up with friends and family to catch up and chat. Why not combine your exercise and your socialising? Invite a friend to join you at GGC5K and have a walk/run/jog together!

As we head into winter it is so easy to feel a bit sad and cold. Regular exercise can boosts your mental health
Physical activity releases endorphins, which help reduce stress, anxiety, and improve your overall mood.

Consistency is key! If you had not guessed it GGC5K is set on helping you create a healthy habit and we need to make our run/walk a habit.

While taking a gentle walk in nature is great for your health, to make your GGC5K have even more health benefits a little increase in challenge is useful.

A rule of thumb is that when exercising you should be working hard enough to mean that although you can talk , you could not sing!

There are lots of different apps/guides to help you increase your challenge. I have my favourite one that helped me get running (see the link below). The key is to work a little harder, be consistent and enjoy the reward of getting stronger and fitter.
