Lefika Athletics Clubs’ Lobatse based development team closed the season today, Thursday 4th June 2026.

The Lobatse based team shall resume training on the 1st September 2026. That is when they will start preparations for next season (the 2027 season).

It was first season of structured training for most team members and they shall be going into 2nd year next season, it’s a young promising youth team (Under 18 years).

Some competed for first time this season @ Gaborone City Tour meet hosted by Moroka AC.

All the best team, have a good rest and return strong in September.

NB: Kindly note our Gaborone based team is still training at the national stadium and will shall announce when they go for break and the date they will resume for next season preparations.

Also note that our elite athletes’ season is still ongoing up to September 2026.
