At the table with the President and focused on what matters.
KBL engaged President Advocate Duma Gideon Boko, the Minister of Trade and Entrepreneurship, Hon. Tiroeoane Ntsima, and the Minister for State President, Defence and Security, Hon. Moeti Mohwasa, on driving localisation, strengthening supply chains, and creating sustainable jobs.
Big ambition. Clear direction. Real opportunity.
We’re forever committed to playing our part in Botswana’s growth story.

Yesterday, KBL kicked off its FIFA World Cup 2026™ collaboration with Carling Black Label Botswana and Flying Fish, bringing people together to celebrate the power of football across Botswana.
As KBL Managing Director, Hannes Smal shared, “Beer and sports have always gone hand in hand. Beer is for social occasions and has been integral in bringing people together in moments of friendship, sports and general celebration.”
From match-day moments with friends to nationwide celebrations, we’re creating more ways for Botswana to connect, celebrate and enjoy the game while continuing to support local businesses and contribute to the economy.
And as always, we’re committed to making sure this celebration is enjoyed responsibly, so this World Cup moment is one to remember.
Here’s to football, connection and more cheers!

Today, we celebrate the spirit, richness, and resilience of Africa - a continent connected by culture, community and moments shared together. 🍻
Across Africa, beer has long played a role in bringing people together - around tables, celebrations, stories, sport, music, and meaningful connections. At Kgalagadi Breweries Limited - KBL, we are proud to be part of an industry that not only creates high-quality beers using the finest ingredients sourced from the land, but also supports local farmers, communities and economies across the continent.
From seed to sip, our commitment remains rooted in craftsmanship, quality, and the belief that beer, enjoyed responsibly, has the power to unite people and create moments of togetherness.
Cheers to Africa - its people, its passion, and the shared connections that continue to bring us together.
