⚠️ CANCELLED AUGUST 14 - FRIDAY EVENING SHUTTLE SERVICE

Due heavy rain forecasted this evening, in addition to the rain accumulated yesterday, the Keppoch will be cancelling this evening’s shuttle service from 4-7pm. This decision has been made to preserve our newly graded shuttle road and to ensure it is in optimal condition for this weekend and the rest of the bike season. The lodge will also be closed.

Thanks for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you at the mountain this weekend!

KEPPOCH EVENTS THIS WEEKEND AUGUST 14-16 🚴‍♀️🌲🚶‍♀️

✅ CURRENT CONDITIONS:

The trails will all be open this weekend for hiking and biking. If we receive rain more than 10 mm on our shuttle days, we may need to shut down the shuttle service to preserve our shuttle roads and remain operational for the rest of the season.

✅ LODGE & BIKE SHUTTLE UPDATE:

The bike shuttle and lodge hours will be operating on Friday, August 14 from 4-7pm and Saturday, August 15 & Sunday, August 16 from 10am-5pm.

Some insects have a lot of gall, but they’re still nice. Let’s learn about them, too! Join StFX entomologist for an hour-long walk to explore the wonderful richness of insects at The Keppoch!

🚴‍♀️ WEDNESDAY GROUP RIDES - AUGUST 12 🚴‍♀️

Join our Wednesday weekly group bike ride for fitness, fun, and community!

📍 Meet: Main parking lot at the Keppoch lodge (193 Keppoch Road)
📅 Date: Every Wednesday
🕕 Time: 6:30 PM (Duration ~ 1.5 hours)
🚴‍♀️ Levels: Intermediate/Advance riders

‼️ WORK WITH US - KEPPOCH LODGE ATTENDANT/SHUTTLE TRUCK DRIVER ‼️

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Lodge Attendant/Shuttle Driver to help create exceptional experiences for our visitors! This is a part time, weekend position (Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays day time) until the fall season ends (approximately the end of October), with the potential to also work during the winter season.

As part of our team, you will:

✅ Greeting members and guests, and answering their questions
✅ Help maintain a clean and comfortable lodge
✅ Support daily lodge operations such as the purchase of memberships, day passes and rental equipment
✅ For shuttle driving, assist guests with uploading bikes on the shuttle
✅ Support downhill mountain bikers by driving them up the mountain and unloading bikes

KEPPOCH MOUNTAIN BADGE 🥾⛰️🌲

The Keppoch is happy to be in partnership with Hike Nova Scotia as part of the Hike NS's Hiker Challenge Badge program. This badge invites participants, anytime of the year, to hike approximately 23 km of certain Keppoch trails within a year. Once completed, apply for the badge at the Hike Nova Scotia's website.
