A very big thank you !! To everyone who so generously came on their Saturday to personally wish Mr. Steve a very Happy Birthday! Sending your well wishes was also greatly appreciated. Mr. Steve rightly felt the love.

And who doesn’t love cake! There was plenty to go round with Tim Horton’s coffee graciously donated by Jason and Susan at the 3 Sarjeant Drive Dunlop location. It was standing room only with Scott leading us in a Happy Birthday serenade to Mr. Steve.

The party continued into the night where all LKS staff joined us for a BBQ of Mr Steve’s favourite.

Mr. Steve started his training in 2001 and achieved his First Degree Black Belt in 2005. Second Degree Black Belt in 2007 with his Third in 2010, coinciding with his retirement from Toronto Subway after 30 years. Not one to be idle, Mr. Steve started his second career with LKS and has been with us ever since! Mr. Steve earned his 4th Degree in June, 2014 and 5th Degree in 2019. This is already a great year for Mr. Steve - just last month achieved his 6th Degree Coral Belt!!

As you can imagine, Mr. Steve has taught and influenced alot of students over as many years. We consider ourselves blessed and fortunate to have such a wonderful staff and role model to all, a friend to many of our families and consider Mr. Steve a part of ours. Please extend our invitation to let everyone know of our special event to honour Mr. Steve!
