Between 13 and 15 of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s (TRC) 94 Calls to Action have been fully completed.

Since 2015.

That's disgusting and that is why we wear orange today.

Behind the graphic...

Shout out to our amazing graphics person who nailed it with a special poster for us.
They asked why the name Defiant Spirits, so they could get a feel for the mood of the poster

Usually, show names are based on songs that fit the mood, this show was named after a favourite book, Defiant Spirits: The Modernist Revolution of the Group of Seven, by Ross King.

We said we envision that Barrie Wrestling has been, to an extent, a defiant spirit. The small, northern promotion that has held on for 12 years and put on banger shows. Quietly growing into something bigger.

Our graphics person used the 1915 Tom Thomson painting, Sunset (we know Thomson wasn't an actual member of the GO7, but an inspiration and friend to those who were).

This is why we won't ever use AI for our posters.
This kind of touch can't be duplicated with the same emotion.

From the west coast, with love?

The Phoenix Dave Rishi has been on the rise on the continent's west side and he'll look to make an impact here against one of the hardest-hitting talents in Barrie.

Myung Jae Lee will not be a gracious host and is looking to get his winning ways back on track.

This has match of the night written all over it.
