Hockey season is almost here! Now is the perfect time to polish the skating skills that make a difference all season long.

A few spots remain in our October 5 PD Day Power Skating Clinics with the WCHA Development Coaches Colby Robak and Mark Derlago.

This PD Day Clinic offers two ice times focused on skating development for to build speed, edgework, agility and confidence before the season gets rolling.

Carey Findlay will lead the group as Head Coach, with Ryan White joining as Assistant Coach.

For this age group, the right coaching environment can make a lasting impact. Carey and Ryan bring a passion for hockey, a focus on development and the energy needed to help young players learn, compete and enjoy every part of the game.

We’re excited to have them behind the bench and representing the WCHA this spring.

Two WCHA coaches. One spring team. A lot of hockey ahead.

Mark Derlago will lead the 2017 Stealth Wolves as Head Coach, with Colby Robak joining him as Assistant Coach.

As On-Ice Development Coaches with the WCHA, Mark and Colby spend their days helping players sharpen their skills, build hockey IQ and become better athletes. This spring, they’ll bring that same approach to the 2017 Stealth Wolves.

We’re excited to see Mark, Colby and the 2017 Stealth Wolves hit the ice together this spring.

We’re proud to announce the 2027 Spring Team coaching staff for the 2017 Female Wolves.

Leading the team as Head Coach is Mark Geekie, with Dustin Kellington joining as Assistant Coach.

Both bring experience, knowledge and a genuine passion for developing young hockey players. This spring will be about building skills, confidence and a strong team environment while giving these players the opportunity to grow and compete together.

We’re lucky to have Mark and Dustin representing the WCHA and helping lead this group of young Wolves.

There’s a lot to look forward to for the 2016 Female Wolves this spring.

Tony Vasilarakis will lead the team as Head Coach, with Carey Findlay joining as Assistant Coach.

Tony and Carey share an incredible passion for hockey and a genuine commitment to helping young players grow. They bring energy, knowledge and a love for the game to the rink, creating an environment where players can build confidence, compete and enjoy the process of getting better.

We’re excited to see the impact these two will have on the 2016 Female Wolves this spring.

The audio says, “I don’t want to go to school tomorrow…” but we think our students might have a different take on that. 😉

It’s hard to believe our students have already been back on campus for 2️⃣ weeks!

Here’s a look back at the night before school, when the classrooms were still empty, to the first day when they were filled with learning, conversations and plenty of energy.

We’re proud to announce the 2027 Spring Team coaching staff for the 2015 Stealth Wolves.

Leading the team will be Head Coach Tyler Plante, joined by Assistant Coach Alex Plante.

Tyler is the WCHA’s Director of Goalie Development, bringing years of professional playing and coaching experience to the development of young athletes. Alex is an On-Ice Development Coach with the WCHA, drawing on his professional playing career to help players grow their skills and understanding of the game.

We’re lucky to have these two representing the WCHA and bringing their experience, knowledge and passion to the 2015 Stealth Wolves this spring.

A great spring season starts with the people behind the bench.

For the 2015 Female Wolves, Tyler Plante will take the lead as Head Coach, with Scott Hellyer joining as Assistant Coach.

At the WCHA, we know great coaches play an important role in shaping a player’s experience. They teach the game, build confidence, set the standard and help young athletes understand what it means to represent their team and the WCHA.

Tyler and Scott bring the leadership and commitment needed to help this group grow, compete and make the most of their spring season.

The jerseys are ready. The coaches are ready. Now it’s time to find the 2015 Female Wolves.

🎄 The U9 Christmas Cup is BACK!

December 28 & 29, we’re bringing two days of holiday hockey to J&G Homes Arena.

It’s one of our favourite tournaments of the year, with great hockey, holiday vibes and plenty of fun for U9 teams.

Teams can expect:
• 4 guaranteed full-ice games, with a 5th game for teams advancing to the Gold or Bronze game
• A WCHA jersey for every participant
• A Wheat Kings game ticket voucher for every participant
• A WCHA coach on each bench
• A referee for every game

Team registration is now OPEN.
