I would like to give a huge huge shout out and big thanks to this incredible lady Lauren Peake Nielsen
Not sure what I/we would have done without you in Europe.
Lauren pretty much selflessly became team Canada's kickboxing MOM! to all the athletes, not to mention, taxi driver, photographer, medicine woman, guide, water woman, and the biggest team supporter anyone could ask for.
Thank you so very much for all of your help during this years world Championships. Myself and Team Canada appreciate everything you do ❤️👊

🇨🇦🥊 TEAM CANADA — WMAC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 🥊🇨🇦

What an incredible experience in Bregenz, Austria at the WMAC World Championships.

I went to Austria with the intention of competing myself in two divisions. But once we arrived, my role quickly became about something much bigger — representing Team Canada, coaching our athletes, supporting our team, and making sure every athlete had the opportunity to perform at their best.

And I couldn't be more proud of what our team accomplished.

🏆 EVERY ATHLETE WE BROUGHT TO AUSTRIA FINISHED ON THE PODIUM. 🏆

Every single one.

Watching these athletes step into that ring wearing CANADA across their backs, fight their hearts out, and come home with medals was something I'll never forget.

There were long days, early mornings, nerves, pressure, victories, tough fights, celebrations, and plenty of moments behind the scenes that nobody watching from home will ever see.

But that's what being part of a team is about.

I'm incredibly proud of every athlete who represented Canada, and I'm grateful to every coach, official, parent, family member, supporter, and sponsor who helped make this journey possible.

🇨🇦 You didn't just represent yourselves. You represented your families, your gyms, your coaches, and your country.

And you did it with pride.

This trip reminded me why I love this sport so much.

I may not have stepped into the ring myself this time, but standing in the corner and watching our athletes succeed was a victory of its own.

TEAM CANADA — YOU MADE ME PROUD. ❤️🇨🇦
