What a great day we had yesterday! We held our first ever Dojo Shiai (tournament) and it was a great success. A big congratulations to all of the young competitors from all the other dojo’s. You guys were fantastic! Every single one of you was an excellent competitor, a respectful young martial artist and it was a pleasure to have you here at the dojo. The big thank you to all of my black belts and students who truly stepped up to help make the event so much fun for everyone. To all the other dojo owners and instructors, thank you for your support and I look forward to returning the favor sometime soon. Have a great week guys!

Yesterday was our summer camp tradition of Frosties & Fries! Everyone had a great time and of course we had to stop and look at the Fruity Fence. The Aldershot Village BIA sponsored this beautiful piece of art as a celebration of the roots of the Aldershot community. Definitely worth checking out.

The big draw is over! A big congratulations to Vincent, Marnie and of course our grand prize winner Doug. This is it guys! It’s now or never as we only have one day left before our big raffle draw. Some lucky person is going to walk away with a gift bag filled with $1500 worth of awesome gift cards. Two other people are also going to walk away with smiles on her face as a either a $250 or $100 Visa gift card. All in all pretty awesome prizes. A big thank you to the Aldershot Village BIA for treating us to a delicious selection of Tim Hortons donuts and of course thank you for the kind words. The kids who were there and the other kids who had yet to arrive were all pleasantly surprised and couldn’t wait to dig in 😁

We have four days left before we draw the raffle tickets for our amazing prizes! First prize is $1500 and awesome gift cards. Everything from restaurants and groceries to gas stations.
