Emmett is a 16 year old young man fighting Acute Lymphoblastic (ALL).
While going through treatment this summer Emmett has decided to run a fundraiser for other teens like him to help raise donations of Tech Accessories like headphones and phone chargers, LEGO for teens, Electronics, Art Supplies, Comfort Items and Gift Cards for teens. If you are able to donate to the ABSURD initiative there are several locations in Burlington and Oakville. Go to to find locations and learn more about Emmett and his journey.
If you are looking for something fun to do on the Civic Holiday, ABSURD's Christmas in July party is a great way to enjoy the afternoon and help make a difference to kids spending their summer in the hospital instead of being able to have fun.
