We have some incredibly exciting news to share✨
The studio is adding an RMT! Please give a warm welcome to Lauren Dockx from Valeo Massage Therapy!🩷
Lauren will be operating her practice out of the studio beginning July 1st!
Lauren brings 3 years of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist with the CMTO. She specializes in deep tissue massage and targeted therapeutic treatments designed to help clients get back to the activities they love.
Her approach blends focused, result-driven care with a calm, supportive space where you can relax, recover, and unwind from everyday stress.
In addition to deep tissue massage, other treatments offered include cupping, hot stone massage, and Indie head massage.
Lauren currently practices in Port Dover and is excited to continue to grow Valeo Massage Therapy in a new space located within Excalibur Physiques — creating a welcoming environment centred on health, wellness, and recovery.
We cannot wait to welcome her into the studio!🤍

Class alert!!!📣
We are SO excited to introduce a class at the new studio! We want to give clients (and non-clients) a chance to relax, unwind and get a good stretch in while being guided in a way that is optimal for full body mobility.🧘♀️
We will have 6 spots open per class. Registration priority will be given to existing clients followed by previous clients and non-clients.
Pre-payment will be required via our booking link through square below. Cancellation policy of 24 hours notice is applicable for classes. This allows for those on a wait list to be given ample notice of a cancellation.

Welcome to the Barbie technicolor 5 month transformation✨💖
November 21st- April 7th❄️🌸
I wanted to make a post to thank a very special person for making my studio to come life. My dad put his heart and soul into this space to make my dream become a reality.
It is truly a rarity to have someone who can extract what I see in my brain and be able to execute the details. This is exactly what my dad did with my home studio and he did it once again in the new studio. My creativity and ideas can come across as daunting to some, but I know I always have one special person who understands what I am envisioning and works toward the goal with me and make it even better than I originally intended.
My dad worked day and night and (literally) put his blood, sweat and tears into his work. He completed every inch of this renovation from false framing to drywall, mudding, flooring, painting, archways, lighting, ceiling elevation, doors, trim, baseboards and even wallpaper mural installation with a non square bathroom (10 hours later..ooopps😬).
This was a massive project and I truly would not have been able to do it without him. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Also a big thank you to my friends and family for helping with the last minute details from flooring, putting ceiling tiles back, moving equipment and assembling furniture. It truly takes a village and I am beyond grateful for mine.🩷

A little sneak peek into our new studio. We have been working day and night on this project for the past six months putting our heart into every little detail to make this space come to life.✨

Meet Sophia ♓︎
Sophia is a badass entrepreneur, respected wellness practitioner, fitness powerhouse, mom of 2 and caretaker of many (if you’re her client, you know). Sophia has been working on her body composition over the last year all while growing her business empire and navigating an immense amount of life hurdles. 🌱
Sophia was no stranger to fitness when she joined Excalibur a year ago. She had restarted her fitness journey in 2022 and lost a total of 40lbs through biking and running. After her weight loss journey she felt unsatisfied with her body composition and wanted to refine her physique, thus starting our journey together in January 2025.💪🏼
The goal was to create a “tighter” more “toned” physique that looked strong and healthy. Improving posture and increasing energy was also a priority. Sophia battles with a number of autoimmune conditions so managing inflammation and her recovery responses was key throughout this past year. ❤️🩹
We took her through a multiple cyclic training cycles to ensure she was progressing lift after lift to build muscular endurance, strength and hypertrophy. We also worked on increasing metabolic capacity through reverse dieting by slowly increasing her nutrient intake.📈
Fun fact- mature lifters will be slower to put muscle mass on compared to a newbie. Expected muscle mass ranges from 2-5lbs per year vs 6-12lbs for a new lifter. Sophia added 4lbs over the course of the year which is a phenomenal feat!! 🙌🏼
We are beyond proud of her progress and cannot wait to see what she continues to accomplish this year🥰❤️ Big things ahead!!

Meet our coaches!
Nina Goode is the head coach/ owner of Excalibur Physiques. She began the business in October of 2019 with virtual coaching and expanded her in person services later that year. She is a Certified Personal Trainer with the International Sports Science Association as well as a Certified Nutritionist. Nina holds an honours diploma in Health, Wellness and Fitness from Mohawk College and has certifications specializing in Ante/Post Natal, Trigger Point Foam Rolling as well as Pre-Script Level 1 & 2. Her current education focus is on the pelvic floor and advanced biomechanics.
Brooklyn Skoog joined our team in December of last year! She is a Certified Personal Trainer with Canadian Fitness Professionals Inc. She is a two time graduate of Mohawk College with a diploma in Health, Wellness and Fitness as well as Mental Health and Disabilities Management. She is currently pursuing education is the field of yoga. Brooklyn specializes in running, strength training, people with disabilities, stretch work and holistic lifestyle coaching.

Transformation time- coach edition xo
Self coached, Brooklyn has guided herself through every part of her health and fitness journey. 💕💪🏼
💚2017-2018
Struggled with weight, confidence and little balance in nutrition. She was not working out at the time and was looking for ways to allow her to feel more comfortable in her own skin.
🩵2019-2021
The approaches she used to feel more confident took her town a different path included restriction of food and working out excessively with led her to develop an ED. Her confidence was low, she struggled to maintain a healthy mindset and felt lost
💛2022-2024
Fast forward to 2022 where she enrolled in the health, wellness and fitness program at Mohawk college and completely changed her mindset around her body. She focused on performance- speed and running as well as yoga. She became the captain of Mohawk’s CC team, worked on her relationship with food, became an ambassador for Modo Yoga and focused on how she felt, not how she looked.
🩷2025
Today Brooklyn is the epitome of balance. She trains 3-4 days a week, runs for enjoyment, practices yoga for mindset and uses the 80-20 rule for nutrition. The days where confidence is low she approaches with grace and continues to work on her mindset.
🤍The reason why you want to lose weight are just as important as how you lose it. Fostering a healthy mindset around fitness and nutrition in a support environments can make all the difference.
