Last week was our annual Men’s Member Guest—the biggest event of our season and one of the best weeks of the year at Bearspaw.

As we reminisce on three awesome days, we wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our members and their guests who made this such a fun event, complete with some healthy competition and, of course, many cold beverages.

The beautiful (and frustrating) thing about this game, is that there’s no single “right” way to do it.

When people picture Black Bear, they often focus on the trees—and for good reason: the Magee Championship track is carved into lush Corbyville forest. But there are plenty of wetlands and ponds out there as well.

Some water hazards offer a risk/reward opportunity, and others aren’t worth flirting with. A round played without a lost ball is always a win.

Completed in 2021, our rustic-modern clubhouse overlooks the course without overpowering it—making it feel like it was here all along.
