Alex Tumang has become a familiar supporter of Calgary’s Filipino basketball community. Over the years, he has helped leagues, tournaments and teams when support was needed.

But what stands out just as much is that he shows up.

When his team plays, Alex is usually right there on the bench. He supports the players, encourages the organizers and stays involved. That was the case again when Alex Tumang Calgary faced PBA Motoclub, with Alex right there alongside his team on one of the biggest Filipino basketball nights in Calgary this summer.

There are many generous people helping the local basketball community grow, and they deserve recognition too.
