Hello all,

There will be judo classes on Wednesday Sept 30th. Feel free to have the judoka wear orange shirts that day in recognition of the Truth and Reconciliation Day.

Reminder: please scan your Hiro's Judo Club membership card when you attend classes. The scanner is on the white table beside the office. It allows us to track your/your child's attendance. If you did not receive your membership card or have lost your card, please let Sensei Garry know. DO NOT scan your Judo Canada card as the reader does not recognize it and your attendance will not be recorded correctly.

Upcoming tournaments:
Bookings have already been completed for Ontario Open and Quebec Open and Canada Cup through Judo Alberta.

The next regional training camp is Oct 3rd at Hiro's 9am-noon. The sign up is on the Dokume app.

Manitoba Open is Nov 27-28. Please let us know if you are interested in competing there, as we will need to book hotel rooms and flights.

Finally, if you have not done so already, please ensure you get your membership registered with Judo Alberta and Judo Canada and send in your Hiro's Judo Club membership fees. If you have any questions or problems with registration, please ask us for help.

Hello all,

Hiro's Judo Club has purchased new mats for the dojo. We just found out the truck will be delivering them tomorrow between 2-4pm at the judo club. The truck driver will offload the pallets, but we will need to move them into the judo club by hand and lay them down.

If you are available to help out in moving mats, please let us know. We would really appreciate the help.

Thanks,
Hiro's Judo Club

Hello all,

There will be no judo classes on Monday Sept 7th due to the statutory holiday. We hope you enjoy the day!

Returning members: we encourage our returning members to get their memberships completed as soon as possible. Please note there is a new process to get your Judo Alberta and Judo Canada fees paid online. Use the link below to go to your profile and select the basic/regular memberships for those two fees. You may find that your credit card might not be accepted by the Dokume system. Try an alternate card if possible and some have found that their debit card works. If the payment does not go through feel free to come to the club to practice anyway. We are waiting to see if Judo Canada can remedy the situation.

The returning club membership fee is $270.

Thanks,
