It’s kinda chic to build a dance studio around more than just what’s trending.
At Leap, we’re not interested in becoming a meme page or chasing every trend that comes across our feed.
We’re interested in building dancers.
Dancers who are educated, not just entertained.
Dancers who understand their bodies, train safely, and develop in healthy ways.
Dancers who are given the tools to achieve their own goals — not someone else’s definition of success.
Dancers who understand that the styles they train in have history, culture, communities and people behind them.
Dancers who know how to participate in those communities, respect them, and contribute to them.
Of course we can have fun. Of course we can make content. Of course we know what’s happening online.
But the algorithm will never decide our values.
We’re not here to chase trends.
We’d rather set them.
And even more importantly, we want to create value that lasts long after the trend is gone.
That’s kinda chic too. 😉

Round 2 is here!
After the success of our first Pom Prep Camp, we can’t wait to do it all again with Anna on July 27, 28 and 29!
Dancers will spend two days building strong Pom technique, learning combinations, developing performance skills and exploring the energy, precision and teamwork that make Pom so exciting.
We’ll wrap up the experience with a special Media Day, where dancers can show off everything they’ve learned through professional photos and video content.
Whether you’re trying Pom for the first time or looking to sharpen your skills, this is the perfect opportunity to train, perform and have fun with your team.
Class is open for everyone.
Spots are limited. Register through the link in bio!

People see the performances.
The costumes, the smiles, the excitement of being on stage.
What they don’t always see is the education.
At Leap, we believe dance education should never be a mystery. It can feel magical, of course! - but dancers deserve skillful and informed education.
Students deserve to understand what they are learning, why they are learning it, how skills connect together, and what comes next on their journey.
One of the greatest misconceptions in youth activities is that children need to be exceptional early in order to succeed later.
We don’t believe that.
We believe development takes time, and strong foundations matter more than early outcomes.
We believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn, improve, and experience progress at their own pace.
Some dancers will move quickly.
Others will take longer.
Neither path is better.
The goal is not to be “the best” at 7, 10, or 13 years old.
The goal is to keep learning, keep growing. To develop the skills, habits, and mindset that will serve you for years to come.
That’s why we’ve developed the Individual Commitment Pathway (ICP) and personalized Training Passports for our levelled programs.
Because confidence isn’t built through praise.
Confidence is built through competence.
And competence is built through accountability.
Every student receives a roadmap that helps them understand their development in technical skills, physical literacy, artistry, training habits, and character. They can track their progress, access additional learning resources, reflect on their growth, and better understand the building blocks that support long-term success.
At Leap, we’re not simply teaching dance skills.
We’re developing physical literacy through strength, coordination, balance, mobility, patterning, and body awareness.
We’re developing artistry through creativity, musicality, communication, and expression.
We’re developing character through responsibility, resilience, commitment, reflection, and integrity.
These are transferable skills. They matter in school, in leadership, in relationships, in future careers, and in life.
This work is guided by the same philosophy that has

Due to interest, we’ve opened an additional Dance Team Placement Camp opportunity for dancers interested in joining Leap for the 2026/27 season.
Not every dancer is looking for a 15-hour-per-week commitment.
Some dancers are looking for:
- Great training
- Meaningful performance opportunities
- A supportive team environment
- A healthy balance between dance, school, family, and other activities
That’s exactly why we’ve built multiple pathways within our Dance Team program.
Whether your dancer is interested in Hip Hop Crew, our Performance Team, or is ready for a more advanced Company experience, our focus remains the same:
Helping dancers build strong skills, confidence, artistry, and lasting friendships in a positive and purposeful environment.
At Leap, performance opportunities are supported by quality training, experienced educators, and a community that believes every dancer deserves to be challenged, supported, and celebrated.
