Our third student in the graduating class of 2026 is Cordelia. Cordie has been dancing with us at Soul To Sole for the past eleven years. It has been so wonderful watching her grow not only in her dance and performance skills, but also into a beautiful, artistic, funny and confident young woman. Her love for dance, dedication and the fact that she doesn’t give up has been apparent over the years. She isn’t afraid to try new things, is excited to learn more in each and every class and most importantly have lots of fun. (She’s been known to crack a few smiles and laugh whenever Miss Bre says some really goofy things or comes over to test her arm strength like in the good old days when she was younger or go all out for dressing up for Halloween Week.)
Cordie is supportive and encouraging towards her classmates and excited for their accomplishments. We saw her come out to watch and cheer on her teammates at all of the competitions this year, where she also joined our Pre-Competitive Program for the first time and had the opportunity to perform and compete herself on various stages in and around the city. Seeing her dance with such passion, joy and her confidence flourish each time she stepped on stage was so lovely to witness. (We can still remember when she first started dance and was younger and when she was often a little anxious and her mom bringing “Pinky” to the studio to help ease her nerves.)
Cordie will be moving to Kelowna in the fall to study Fine Arts at UBCO. She also plans to continue dancing by joining the school dance club.
We are SO very proud of you Cordie and know that you will do some amazing things and be successful in anything you choose to do! It has been such a pleasure having you as a part of our dance family at Soul To Sole over the years. We are going to miss you so much and we look forward to seeing what your future has in store for you. ❤️👣

Our second student in the graduating class of 2026 is Sarah. Sarah has been dancing with us at Soul To Sole for the past nine years. It has been such a pleasure getting to know her and watch her grow into a beautiful, talented and confident young woman over the years. From countless hours in the studio to many unforgettable moments both on and off stage, Sarah has truly put her whole heart into dance. Her hard work, dedication, and passion have never gone unnoticed, and it has been so wonderful watching her grow into the incredible dancer and person she is today. Whether it was long competition weekends, tough classes or rehearsals, or any challenge that has crossed her path, Sarah has consistently shown determination, resilience, and so much love for what she does. We also can’t forget one of her signature trademarks — somehow always dancing in not one, but TWO pairs of socks in her tap shoes to keep them on. It just wouldn’t be the same in class without it.
Sarah is a positive and encouraging teammate. You can always see her chatting and laughing away with her classmates, cheering them on at competition and offering her advice when things may be difficult or challenging.
Next year Sarah will be attending Mount Royal University to obtain her Bachelor of Nursing Degree.
We are SO incredibly proud of you Sarah and know that you will do amazing things in your life! It has been such a pleasure having you as a part of our dance family at Soul To Sole and we are going to miss you so much. (Although there’s been talk about coming back for one more year so that she can receive her 10 Year Award.) We look forward to seeing the incredible accomplishments you make in the years to come and wish you all the best in the future. ❤️👣 .sarah57

April Student of the Month ❤️👣
Our first recipient is Eric. Eric consistently brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine enthusiasm into every class. His determination to improve and willingness to challenge himself are evident in the way he approaches each exercise, always giving his full effort and staying open to feedback. Throughout this season in both ballet and jazz, his attention to detail and awareness of technique have grown significantly, reflecting his commitment to learning and improving. He is a calming, steady, and consistent presence in the room, contributing to a focused and supportive class environment. Eric’s love for dance and commitment to growth truly embody what it means to have great spirit, and these qualities will continue to support his success both in and out of the studio.
Our second recipient is Sophie. When it comes to SPIRIT, nobody stands out more than Sophie. She demonstrates a great spirit, a positive attitude and love for dance. She has shown her resilience including caring for her health, working towards longevity in her dance path, commitment to her athletic performance all while showing her commitment to her team with a smile on her face. These skills serve her well in dance, and will set her up for success in many of her future endeavours.
Congratulations dancers! We are SO incredibly proud of you both!

Grad Feature…Our first student in the graduating class of 2026 is Tegan. Tegan has been such a special part of Soul To Sole over the past five years, and it has been so rewarding to watch her grow into the strong, thoughtful, and genuine young woman she is today. From the moment she joined the studio, she brought a quiet kindness that made people feel comfortable around her, and over time became someone others naturally looked up to.
Whether helping younger dancers as a student teacher, leading warmups, encouraging teammates backstage, or checking in on someone having a hard day, Tegan always led with calmness, care, and authenticity. She never needed to be the center of attention to become one of the most important people in the room.
Tegan has always been deeply dedicated to her growth. She works hard, embraces challenges, and consistently shows up ready to learn. Beyond her talent, what stands out most is the heart she brings into everything she does and the kindness she shows to everyone around her.
Some favourite memories with Tegan will always be the moments her and Miss Cabri managed to sneak their “signature move” into choreography. It became their own little tradition—equal parts questionable decision and guaranteed laughter—and feels like the perfect reflection of her time at the studio: leaving behind humour, kindness, and pieces of herself in every dance.
Next year Tegan will be attending the University of Lethbridge to study French, Linguistics, and Indigenous Studies to either go into Education or Speech Language Pathology.
It has been such a pleasure having you as a part of our dance family and we are so proud of everything you have become, and while you will be deeply missed, we know you are going to do incredible things wherever life takes you next. We look forward to seeing all of the amazing things you do and wish you all the very best. ❤️👣 .top
