Join us for a Swing Dance Practice this Saturday, June 13th! Come practice your Lindy, Charleston, Balboa, S**g, or Solo Jazz with other dancers. We will have music playing for you to dance and explore movements with others. Note that this is not a class but moreso a space to collaborate and learn together through shared experiences!

Everyone is welcome to drop in and join no matter your level or if you take classes with us or not. Come meet other dancers and get inspired by one another!

These practices have a pay-what-you-can model, with a suggested donation of $5 to go towards the rental. Those who are able are welcome to give a little extra to support the space and community, but please don’t let cost stop you from coming.

Today is World Lindy Hop Day, aka the birthday of legendary Lindy Hopper Frankie Manning! To Celebrate we are offering a low cost Shim Sham class tonight from 8-9PM with Taylor Marcus.

The Shim Sham is one of the most iconic solo jazz routines in the swing dance world. Originally created as a tap routine in the late 1920s, it later became a favourite in the Lindy Hop community thanks to Frankie Manning adapting and sharing the routine in the ‘80s! This routine is popular and is done at most swing dance socials & events world wide!

All levels are welcome- this is a beginner friendly routine!

Cost: $5 at the door
