Happy FriYay! 🥳
Or as moms and business owners like to call it…
Today. 😂
No clocking out.
No sleeping in tomorrow.
No “I’ll deal with that Monday.”
Just me, sitting in my car, drinking my coffee in peace for 3 minutes before somebody needs something from me. ☕️😂
But hey… we made it to Friday.
That counts for something, right?
Happy Fun Friday to all the moms whose weekends are just weekdays with slightly different outfits. 🤍

Helping Busy, Postpartum Mom's looking to shed the 'baby weight', repair their weakened core muscles, strengthen their pelvic floor and regain their energy - without sacrificing family time or making separate diet meals!
When I started my own 3-month weight loss journey, I thought the goal was simple:
Lose the weight.
Feel more confident.
Look different.
And I did.
But looking back now... that wasn't the biggest transformation.
The weight loss ended after three months.
The person I became never did.
I became someone who prioritized her health.
Someone who learned how to show up even when motivation wasn't there.
Someone who stopped chasing perfection and started building consistency.
Someone who valued strength over punishment.
Someone who surrounded herself with people who lifted her up.
Someone who saw food as fuel, exercise as a privilege, and health as something worth protecting.
My body changed because my habits changed.
My habits changed because my mindset changed.
And that changed my life.
That's exactly why I created my Confidently Me program.
Not because I think women need a year to lose weight.
Because I believe women deserve more than a quick transformation.
I want you to build the habits, confidence, strength, and identity that stay with you long after the scale changes.
Because the best thing I gained from my own journey wasn't the body I built.
It was the life I built because of the woman I became. 💜
Real Talk! 💬
Is this a normal feeling? 🤔
Is it weird?
Is there such a thing as reverse OCD?
This happens to me quite frequently.
I'm also okay if it's just me being weird! 🤪
But would love to know if anyone else feels this way sometimes!
I am training for a 'Plank Competition' with a few of my clients in September, their request not mine. I dont like planking, so im hoping this videos
'Plank rants' to get me through my planks!

🤠 The Unofficial Stampede Survival Guide
Let's be real...
You're probably going to eat more than usual.
You'll probably have a few drinks.
You'll stay up later.
You'll walk 20,000+ steps one day and 2,000 the next.
The scale might jump.
And you'll make some incredible memories.
None of that means you've "fallen off."
Here's how I survive Stampede without feeling like I need to start over on Monday:
🌅 1. Get your workout done early.
Schedule it into your week like any other appointment. Get it done and dusted so you're not stressing about squeezing it in later.
🥚 2. Start your day with a nutrient-dense breakfast.
Protein, fibre, fruit or veggies, healthy fats, and quality carbs. Fill your nutrient tank before the carnival food takes over.
💧 3. Hydrate like it's your job.
Hot weather + beer gardens + salty foods = your body needs more water than you think. Add electrolytes when needed to help replace what you're losing.
⚖️ 4. Expect the scale to fluctuate.
More food, more sodium, more carbs, more water retention, more food sitting in your digestive system... that's normal.
It's not body fat overnight.
Give yourself a few days back in your normal routine before stepping on the scale.
❤️ 5. Remember why you're there.
To laugh.
To make memories.
To watch the rodeo.
To eat the mini donuts.
To enjoy time with friends and family.
One week doesn't define your progress.
The habits you return to afterwards do.
Enjoy Stampede.
Drink the beer.
Eat the weird food.
Ride the rides.
Then get back to your routine without guilt, punishment, or trying to "undo" the fun.
Because healthy living isn't about avoiding life...
It's about building a lifestyle that has room for it. 🤠
👇 What's your one non-negotiable Stampede tradition? Mine is wandering the midway, people watching, and having my deep fried oreos every year!

Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦 🍁
Heritage Park
Today was filled with simple moments that end up meaning the most—wandering through Heritage Park, train rides, a few classic rides, watching our little dude explore every corner, and soaking up another Canadian summer day together. Sun and rain and more sun...🤣
And somehow, it's also been 16 years of us. ❤️
Sixteen years of growing up together, building a life, becoming parents, and creating the kind of memories we once only imagined.
Wouldn't want to celebrate this country—or this life—with anyone else.
Happy Canada Day. 🇨🇦
And 16 years together ❤️
Thanks Jurassic Quest 😆
My son loves his new dino! 🦖
My breakfast was delicious! Just had to be on the tail end of a TRex!
The fitness industry loves simple answers.
"Eat this and lose weight."
"Do this exercise to tone your arms."
"Drink this and burn fat."
The problem?
Weight loss doesn't happen because of one breakfast.
One workout.
One healthy choice.
Or one perfect day.
It happens because of hundreds of decisions made consistently over time.
Could this breakfast fit into a weight loss journey? Absolutely.
But so could pizza night.
Birthday cake.
Date night.
A missed workout.
A stressful week.
Because sustainable weight loss isn't about finding the one magical thing that works.
It's about finding habits that work for YOUR body, YOUR lifestyle, and YOUR season of life.
Be careful of anyone promising a one-step solution.
The truth is less exciting, but far more effective:
Small choices.
Repeated consistently.
Over time.
That's where real results come from.
There are no magic foods. No magic exercises. Just habits you can actually stick with.
