We just drove from Banff through Jasper heading back to Grande Prairie.
OMG Jasper is not open for business like the media is saying.
We got there at about 3:30 pm yesterday.
No restaurant are open (smittys)
The one pub downtown was closed.
Both South gas stations are gone.
The North gas station was closed.
The valley both sides South of town is burnt.
All buildings are gone in the campgrounds, some cabins.They managed to save the cabins along the highway a couple miles South of town.
All you see in town is large metal bins on the street.
