Thank you to everyone who came out to the Alberta World Cup Academy's first ever Western Junior Training Camp!

We were thrilled to see athletes and coaches from Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec and the Yukon come together to join us for a weekend of learning, training and sharing knowledge.

A big thank you to the AWCA athletes for helping lead sessions and share knowledge with the next generation of skiers as well!

Thanks Ivan Babikov for the photos and support! It was awesome to have this weekend also be a provincial team camp for Nordiq Alberta.

We're looking forward to hosting more community opportunities for athlete and coach development in the future - hopefully we'll see you all there!

Reminder: Sign up for the Western Canada Junior Training Camp. Deadline: July 10,2026. Thé camp is for U18 and U20 athletes and provides a professional development opportunity for coaches. Led by the Alberta World Cup Academy coaches assisted by our athletes. Link in bio

Applications for athletes to join the Alberta World Cup Academy for the 2026-27 season or for the summer of 2026 are now open! Come and join our team of 30 athletes and three coaches, either in Calgary as a student in our train + study program, or in Canmore!

While one group is at the Olympics and another is preparing for the World Junior Championships in Norway, our development team went to Colorado to participate in the University of Colorado Invitational Races!
