What an incredible weekend of racing at ROWNS for the Nova Scotia Sprints – Bud Myra Memorial Regatta!
Despite some challenging weather conditions, our athletes showed resilience, determination, and teamwork throughout the weekend.
A huge congratulations to our U19 Men's Quad (4x) on bringing home 🥇 1st place!
We were also thrilled to see four athletes compete in their very first flatwater regatta. Congratulations to Dinah, Grace, Lola, and Suzanne on taking on this exciting milestone!
It was fantastic to see several returning rowers back on the race course this weekend. Your dedication, commitment, and enthusiasm for getting back on the water is something to be proud of—we're so glad to have you racing with the club!
In total, 18 athletes proudly represented our club including 9 Masters rowers and 9 Junior/U23 athletes. From first-time racers to experienced competitors, everyone gave it their all and represented our club with pride.
Congratulations to all of our athletes, coaches, volunteers, and supporters for making it such a successful weekend. 🚣
Thank you and all who supported in running this event!

The countdown is on for the Nova Scotia sprints and our junior and masters competitive programs at Brackley have been working hard. Getting ready for the regattas is no joke, early morning practices, countless hours of training, and lots of preparation is what makes our teams great. Can’t wait to see the results, we will all be cheering from PEI!

Happy Canada Day! We had a great row on July 1st at the Charlottetown Yacht Club, everyone brought their Canada Day spirit and we took some super fun pictures. Thanks to club member and intro coach Kendra for bringing us an amazing crab cake!!

The addition of the Legacy Flatwater Quad in Brackley and the Legacy Coastal Double in Charlottetown was made possible thanks to the generous support of the 2023 Canada Games Legacy Fund. Thanks for enabling our rowing community to grow.
