Recently in Vancouver, Professor Joe was awarded a stripe on his black belt by his coach and good friend, Kabir Bath—recognizing his dedication to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, his leadership, and the community he continues to build.

When asked what it meant to him, he said:
“It’s the people, the journey, and the memories that matter most.”

Union Jiu-Jitsu proudly hosted Dojo Storm 3 this afternoon.

What started as a friendly competition between two schools has grown into a four-school event, giving our young athletes the opportunity to compete in a small-scale tournament surrounded by their teammates, coaches, and families.

We are tremendously proud of the 80+ competitors who stepped onto the mats today. There was serious talent, outstanding sportsmanship, and a whole lot of tough, hard-earned fun.

Moments like this are what it’s all about — growth, courage, and community.

A big shout out and thank you to our partner schools, Enhanced BJJ, Crossroads Fitness and Martial Art, and SKIL Dojo.

Adult classes will be open mat style following the regular class schedule.
