If I wanted to lose 20lbs (again) by January 1st as a busy mom, I wouldn’t overcomplicate it. This is EXACTLY what I’d do👇🏼
👉 STOP DOING RANDOM WORKOUTS
Strength train 4x per week and actually follow a program that progresses over time.
👉 GET 10K STEPS A DAY
Walking is low impact, easy to recover from and one of the most underrated tools for fat loss.
👉 PRIORITIZE PROTEIN + A CALORIE DEFICIT
Aim for roughly your goal body weight in grams of protein and figure out a deficit you can actually sustain.
👉 STOP CUTTING OUT FOODS YOU LOVE
Learn how to work pizza, dessert, date nights, etc. into your weekly macros instead of trying to be perfect.
👉 KEEP YOUR MEALS SIMPLE
You don’t need a new recipe every day. Find a handful of high-protein meals you love and repeat them.
👉 STOP RELYING ON MOTIVATION
Have a plan for the days you’re tired, the kids are losing it and working out is the LAST thing you feel like doing.
👉 GET SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR WEEKENDS
You don’t need to undo your progress every weekend and “start again Monday.”
👉 GIVE IT TIME
Stop changing the plan every two weeks because the scale isn’t moving fast enough. Stay consistent long enough to actually see results.
You don’t need to do MORE. You need a plan you can actually stick to as a busy mom!!!
