**Childcare Spaces Available!** Excel Martial Arts Chilliwack has a couple of spaces for our school aged childcare program in September at either: Vedder Elem, Evans or Tyson Elem. Other schools have no waitlist or a small waitlist so now is a great time to inquire if you're needing after school care in the fall.

Amazing black belt test today! 11 of our Chilliwack students tested today. 5 tested for 1st degree black belt, 4 tested for 2nd degree and 2 for 3rd degree black belt.

To see each of them on their own journeys and to see them where they are today is an absolute dream come true. The growth and changes that have occurred over the years can't be put to words but is absolutely treasured.

The black belt vision we are promoting when someone is a white belt can seem so far away when they start but when they get here, it all was worth it.

This is a pretty amazing share about the impact of our color belt leadership team. This is a major reason we have a great program and awesome leaders and instructors. It starts from the lower belts when they are young and they grow and develop in a system that focuses on positive instruction.

It has to be practiced over years of learning how to be a leader but it's worth the time and effort because it builds a culture inside our gym that is hard to put words to.

I'm very grateful for our leaders and instructors and am also thankful for our students that choose to be a part of it. Life is good!

Our kids in after school childcare have been getting outside everyday rain or shine. And creating some nice projects while they're inside over spring break. Even on those rainy days where no one feels like going outside, it always changes their attitudes and emotions when they do. Thanks to all the staff for taking care of the kids. 🙏👊

Sad to hear Joseph has left this life. What an incredible human being! I never once saw him without a smile on his face. To even attempt starting martial arts at 83 years old was impressive but to see him with a black belt on was incredible!
Those that knew him were lucky to know him. He brought joy to the hearts of all those that were around him. Rest in peace my friend. 🙏❤️

Share Please! **Tyson/Evans Elem** We have two spaces available for after school care at Excel Martial Arts. We pickup from school and the kids get to participate in our full martial arts program. After school care combined with life skills that all kids should have.

The program includes half days and pro d days as well. We also do full time care at spring break and summer time. Childcare goes until 6pm each day.
