Gravel Monday is back.

A good crew, good conversation, and a few kilometres of gravel to kick off the week the right way.

We’ll roll at a chill pace on a mix of gravel roads, quiet pavement, and light trails. Everyone is welcome, whether it’s your first ride or your hundredth.

Shuttle service will be available for practice on Saturday from 10am-3pm and on the day of the race (Sunday July 12th) from 8am to 10am

Throwback Thursday.

Back on Notre Dame Ave.

We needed a sign… fast.

A couple sheets of plastic, a few cans of spray paint, and a late night later, we had one. It definitely wasn’t fancy, but it got the job done.

That was almost 10 years ago.

Yesterday was a reminder of just how far we’ve come. To everyone who came out to celebrate with us, thank you. Seeing so many familiar faces, old friends, and new ones all in one place meant the world to us.

Ten years later, the mission is still the same. Build the community. Service the community.

We’ve got some really exciting launches, rides, and events coming over the next little while as we celebrate a decade of Sessions, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

Here’s to the next 10.

10 years of Sessions.
10 years of community.
10 years of building.
10 years of group rides.
10 years of pushing bikes further.

Fair warning… this one’s a long one.

When we started Sessions, every business plan was supposed to have a mission statement. A sentence that explained what your business was trying to become.
Ours was simple.
Build the community. Service the community.

It was never about selling bikes.

Sudbury is an incredible place, and we saw an opportunity to connect people through riding. We wanted to build a place where a community that already existed could truly feel at home. A place where it could grow. We wanted to be the people putting in the work every day to help make that happen.

Our vision wasn’t a retail store.

It was a place where you could stop in for advice and leave having made a new friend. Somewhere you could hang out. Somewhere that felt like yours.

10 years later…
We’re still here.

The group rides are bigger than ever.
Sessions has grown.
Cycle North has been born.
And that drive to build community hasn’t slowed down for a second.

Through Cycle North, we’re now able to work even more closely with our city, our partners, and the people who make this cycling community what it is. At our new home on Lasalle, we’ve finally been able to build the shop we’ve always dreamed of. A space big enough for events, clinics, demo days, group rides, and everything else that brings people together.

The biggest bike shop in Northern Ontario isn’t about having the most bikes.

It’s about having room for the community that fills it.

None of this happens without you.

The people who show up to group rides.
The people who stop in just to chat.
The people who share our posts.
The people who wear a Sessions jersey.
The people who convince a friend to come ride.
The people who come out for the first time

You’ve all helped build this.
This community isn’t ours.
It's yours.

Thank you for believing in what Sessions could become. Thank you for every ride, every conversation, every recommendation, every laugh, and every bit of support over the last 10 years.
This anniversary isn’t about us.
It’s about all of us.

Monday means gravel.

Join us tonight for a chill paced ride leaving from the shop. We’ll mix it up with gravel paths, quiet roads, and a few light trails. Nothing too serious, just a good excuse to get out and ride.
