Guysborough Recreation Department

Due to the expected weather for Friday and Saturday, the Canso and Guysborough Pools will be closed Friday, September 4 & Saturday September 5.

The Guysborough Pool will remain open this week with public swims happening every day. The Pool will close on Sunday September 6th.

Free Parent & Tot Swim- Wednesday, 10am-11am
Free Sensory Friendly Swim- Wednesday 11am-12pm

Registration now open for the 2026/2027 Cheer Season.

📣The Before & After School Program will begin on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026.
Before School (Monday – Friday) 7:00am - 8:30am ($5.00)
After School (Monday - Friday) 2:30pm – 5:00pm ($12.00)
*Please note that this program will run Monday to Friday until the PACY program starts.
