Maskwa athletes Tyler and Hailey Rowe have grown up chasing big goals on the water - and earning them. Tyler, as a first‑year U12, came home with silver in the U16 Men’s C15 at Nationals in Regina. Hailey, as a first‑year U14, powered through to gold in U16 Women’s C15, and bronze in U16 Mixed C15 during the historic Maskwa sweep, proving her strength and determination. A brother and sister built on hard work, dedication, and pride - now ready to represent Maskwa again in Ottawa.

Thanks to the support of The Brace Space, Maskwa athletes, like Tyler and Hailey, are headed to Nationals, stronger than ever!

Congratulations to Lisa Jones-McKenna, the winner of our 50/50... she takes home $6570! Thank you to all our supporters for helping our athletes on their journey to Nationals.

Maskwa athlete Caleigh Goudey’s Nationals journey has been shaped by teamwork, hard work, and steady growth.

In 2024, as a second‑year U12 paddler, she sat stroke in the Senior Women’s C15, helping her crew earn bronze in the final race of the regatta. In 2025, she helped make history: Maskwa swept the entire podium in the U16 Mixed C15 - the first time any club has ever done it - and Caleigh was part of the power in the silver‑medal crew. She added two more medals that year in Junior Women’s C15 and Senior Women’s C15, separate from the sweep. She was also a 2024 nominee for ADCKC U12 Women’s Canoer, and that same year she won Maskwa’s U12 Female Canoer Award- one of the club’s top honors.

She loves this team. She loves this stage. And she’s ready to help Maskwa chase another national title. Thanks to Steele Halifax Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT Caleigh - and her fellow Maskwa athletes across the club - are heading back to Nationals stronger, prouder, and more determined than ever.
