It was a lovely morning on the water with this family from Ontario. Parents in the back and kids in the front of a double kayak is always the way to go. These kids had a blast. Even three and five-year-olds can get on the water with us.

ECO’s Kids kayaking is older than ECO itself. Started in 1997, Dave showed up in lower prospect with a trailer full of white water boats and everyone thought, that’s not normal… so having not much to do around the village, some of the kids wanted to paddle these kayaks on the ocean… and thats how it all started.

Always encouraging another generation of kids to get outdoors, adventure and have fun!

Meet the Mauve Stinger (Pelagia noctiluca). What makes these jellies so wild? Unlike most jellyfish, their stinging cells aren’t just on their trailing tentacles—their entire bell can sting too! ⚡️

Such an incredible sight along the Nova Scotia coast, but definitely one you want to admire from a safe distance! 🌊👀

Monday is Bascic skills clinic. Thursday is Ladies night. Friday is our After-work paddle, Saturday is our eveing paddle and Sunday is our sunset session - all for only $40 plus HST

Tuesday evening is Paddle Club where we will putting sea kayak re-entires lessons for the month of August. A great way to paddle with friends and meet new paddlers while learning to stay safe on the water.

Kids Kayaking Club is really popular this summer! Sign your kids up now! Every Wednesday 6-8pm this summer. Sign up for just a fews day, a month or the enitre summer.

While our Island Explorer Half day tour is our most popular tour, we sometime get those that want a Coastal Explorer Full Day tour. We have one coming up on Tuesday August 11th from 10-4pm.

We wil be paddling across to Prospect Village and maybe even over to Betty Island - depending on the conditions.
