Hey Folks! ποΈπ
We keep seeing posts on our local motorcycling pages asking where to go for solid sportbike service. Especially lately with a few local shops sadly closing their doors for various reasons.
At Acme, we specialize in sportbikes and we hope we don't sound too full of ourselves or anything, but weβre pretty okay at what we do! π
Whether you need your sag set, a full suspension refresh, a tire swap, an engine refresh, track bike prep, parts upgrades, or even just an oil change, weβve got you covered!
Weβre a small, two-person, family-run business and therefore, we operate strictly by appointment to allow ourselves enough time to give every client the focused, detailed attention they deserve during intake. π
Best way to book an appointment is to call or text us during business hours at 647-763-3278!
We look forward to many more years of serving the motorcycling communities throughout Hamilton, Brantford, Oakville, Burlington, and The GTA! π
: have a safe and braaapy weekend everyone! π

: What does βGood Customer Serviceβ mean to us? π οΈ
A complete stranger called the shop this morning asking to speak with our mechanic about a motorcycle he was considering purchasing.
We offered a professional Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI), but the bike was located 3 hours away. We then offered to schedule a paid tech consultation instead. The caller declined because he was leaving within the hour to look at the bike and wanted immediate advice over the phone.
When we explained that we couldnβt provide an on-demand mechanical assessment or answer questions about a motorcycle we had never physically inspected, we were accused of having βbad customer service.β
We understand that can be frustrating when someone is in a hurry, but we stand by our decision.
Hereβs why:
β
True service is accurate service.
Giving a βvibe checkβ on a bike we havenβt inspected on our lift is guesswork. For the safety of the rider, we only provide assessments we can properly verify with our own eyes, tools, and experience. Anything else is a major liability for both our clients and ourselves.
β
True service is loyalty to our existing clients.
Our first responsibility is to the riders who have already entrusted us with their machines. Every unscheduled phone call with our technician takes time away from the work currently on our lift, which isn't ideal for anyone except the person who isn't paying us for our services.
β
True service is valuing the trade.
When we refuse to give away professional services for free, itβs because we value the years of training, experience, and licensing required to become a 310G Technician. It also helps keep the doors open and the lights on...which costs more than most people realize.
If prioritizing rider safety, accuracy, and our paying clients is considered βbad serviceβ by some, weβre okay with that.
Weβre here to do the job right, not just to tell people what they want to hear.
Okay. Back to the wrenches. π
: iykyk, right? race bikes change hands frequently and some are much more recognizable than others! who knows who this bike belonged to first?
here's a hint - it was a former Championship winner! π
