What a great night at the rink for all 5 HSSC groups!

Kicking things off groups 4 and 5 were hard at work learning some fundamentals, including the important skill of standing back up! 💚

Groups 1,2 and 3 hit the ice putting in the work to get ready for the Atlantic Cup in PEI in a few weeks!

We love to see all the smiles and hard work! 💪🏼

🍂⛸️ Learn to Skate Starts Monday! ⛸️🍂

We’re excited to welcome all of our Learn to Skate participants to the ice this Monday at 5:15 PM! To help maximize your skater’s ice time, please arrive early so they are dressed and ready to step onto the ice right at 5:15 PM.

We understand that Monday falls on Thanksgiving, and some families may have holiday plans. If you’re unable to attend the first session, no worries at all! As long as you are registered, your spot is secured and we’ll be happy to see you the following week.

A reminder for parents: If your child is unable or unwilling to attempt standing on their own, parents are welcome to join them on the ice for the first few weeks. Parents wishing to go on the ice must wear a CSA-approved helmet.

We are fortunate to have plenty of helpers on the ice, and we encourage parents to gradually foster independence as their skater gains confidence and comfort.

We can’t wait to kick off another great season and see everyone on the ice! ❄️😊

✨ We’re looking into black puffer jackets by request!
