I had the pleasure of helping this 13 year old with oboe reeds : she was playing Pasculli from memory!!! .... Her REAL instrument is the Piano, so THIS is something that I just can't miss!

Trying a new (to me) way to tie reeds …. Because I don’t like sideways offsets - so there! … 14 d’amore reeds this week, oboe reeds next week!
Merci M. Christophe Dupin, vos tubes (avec le tailleur RCOA1) me donnent des anches qui chantent et rendent le hautbois d'amour un véritable délice à jouer! D'autres tubes, j'en ai testé plein, sentent étouffés OU épuisantes ... sans parler de la stabilité de la justesse : qui aurait cru qu'un si petit tuyau en laiton ferait une si grande différence?

Summer season = slow season. So remembering a wonderful experience: How many amateurs get to play a concerto? THANK YOU to the Conductor and Orchestra President at the time for caring deeply about the community performers and providing experiences we can normally only dream of!
