For in-barn lease .ec in Merrickville, ON! Duke of Arragon, aka Murphy, an 18 yo Irish Sport horse schoolmaster. Murphy stands at 16'2 hands. He's a barn favorite and loves to work and teach riders. Retired from 4* eventing, he can do it all. He would welcome an *intermediate* rider for flatting, pole work, trail riding, etc, with the possibility to do local Trillium or Gold shows next season in the low jumpers under the direction of your own EC-certified coach. He'd also be happy to try his hand at cross-country or dressage. Annual lease price in the mid-to-high fours. PM us to schedule a visit to meet and potentially take Murphy for a trial ride.

We are starting the search for a reliable, skilled Farm Handyman to join our team at Aztec Equestrian Center in Merrickville, ON. The individual would be responsible for the general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our farm machinery, buildings, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience in construction, mechanical repairs, and hands-on work in a rural environment. Must be a team player and be able to effectively prioritize tasks. The position is expected to be ~35 hours per week, including some hours on at least one weekend day. Note that this is not an immediate opening. However our current facilities manager is retiring in late spring/early summer and we'd like to have time for the new person to train under him for at least a few weeks. Please send an email to [email protected] or message directly on FB for more information.
