When you sit in the silence, you get to hear what your heart is saying.
I came home from vacation a few weeks ago.
Sat down at my desk with a long list. Started moving through it, on autopilot.
And then I noticed: the things that had actually gotten clear for me while I was away, the things I genuinely believed were going to move me forward, they weren’t even on the list.
That’s what autopilot does. It keeps you busy with the familiar and skips right past what really matters.
If you’ve ever ended a full day feeling behind, it’s probably not because you didn’t work hard enough.
It’s because everything on your list looked the same, and your brain tried to hold all of it.
You don’t need a longer day. You need a few clear questions to start.
What would your day look like if your list wasn’t in charge?
The courage was always yours. ❤️
We carry so many shoulds through life.
We should be happy, we should be grateful.
We should want this thing we worked so hard to get.
We should be doing more.
At some point you have to ask, whose list is that?
You get to chose what’s next. Not the voice in your head that sounds like your mom, your friend, that person on IG, a younger version of you.
You.
What do you want to choose for yourself?
There was a time when I would have watched “just one more episode.”
Not because I wanted to… but because I was running on empty and convincing myself I deserved to switch off for a little longer.
Last night, I did something different.
I turned off the TV and went to bed.
It sounds so ordinary.
But for me, it wasn’t about sleep. It was about keeping a promise to myself.
For years, I measured success by the big milestones, the promotion, the business, the achievements.
Now I’m learning that some of the things I’m most proud of are the quiet choices no one else sees.
The choices that say:
✨ My wellbeing matters.
✨ I can trust myself.
✨ I don’t have to earn rest.
Maybe your proud moment today isn’t something anyone else would celebrate.
Maybe it’s saying no.
Maybe it’s asking for help.
Maybe it’s going to bed instead of watching one more episode.
Those small moments? They change us.
So I’ll ask you the same question I’m asking myself:
What are you proud of today?

What are you proud of?
Not what you child accomplished
Not what you’ve done for your family

Is there something that’s been quietly or even loudly nagging at you?
A something more that you want to explore but maybe you aren’t sure what it is.

Maybe you’re like me and you believe that you either trust yourself or you don’t.
Turns out that’s not how it works.
Self trust is something that you can build over time.
I get to change my belief around self trust one small moment at a time.

Graduation comes with a crowd and a celebration
There are so many other things that happen around the actual graduation ceremony and there isn’t a crowd.
You’re often alone for those ones. They seem small but they still need to be processed because they impact you or change something for you.
