If your schedule is filled entirely with client work or administration or emergencies you're operating like an employee Your calendar needs to reflect your leadership priorities Have you done that And if you haven't guess what You can start today That's okay Start today Start to put in at least one to 2 hours a day and operate like a CEO even if that's all you put in there CEO time Your mindset will go "Okay how can I operate as a CEO What is operating as a CEO?" That is a really really cool thing to begin to do today So you wanna make decisions from visions not emotions we are so tender as CEOs or or as business owners rather we're so tender We want people to like us because we believe if people like us they'll hire us Not necessarily Somebody can like you but not be interested in what you have to offer

fear of AI is distracting many many people from our greatest advantage We need to stop focusing so much on technology that might replace us and start developing what we can contribute more and more and that goes back to things I say all the time Are you growing yourself Are you seeing and identifying yourself as the CEO of your business Are you identifying yourself as the research and development division of your business Are you seeing yourself as the person who creates connections and grows relationships or are you so distracted by getting on this AI treadmill that it is sucking all of that away from you My friend at the end of the day having a conversation and developing a relationship and and looking to see how you can contribute to the people that you want to be part of your organization whether it's your team members whether it's your clients your customers even people that are just interested in learning more about you you are the asset Remember that AI is not the asset Your actual intelligence you the human you're the greatest asset of all

It honestly starts within your mind so you have to be willing to set time aside to do the deep work that a CEO needs to do You need to be willing to step away from the computer to step away from the tasking and start to do the deep work of personal development As a CEO your job isn't simply to earn more money We're here to build businesses that become valuable assets So today can you say that your business is a valuable asset Not just something that you you know you create products and you sell them and you make money asset that actually could be valued if you were going to sell it How would you do that I don't necessarily know how to do that for everyone but it is a great conversation to have with a certified accountant or an investment individual a person that does investments They can actually look at what you've created in your business and give you a real market value of the what your assets are and what the value of them could be

I didn't grow myself by staying at home and and buying into being afraid I have done now well over 300 TV episodes I've been doing my own show my own live radio podcast TV show I've been doing that since 2014 right No sooner than that Since 2011 sorry Blah Yeah for for quite a long time right I've been in my own business for 18 years and I've had my own show now for 15 years I was petrified the first time I just did a radio show I'm telling you I cried for the first 15 minutes I cried I was shaking I was laughing I was crying I was every emotion you could possibly imagine I had courage and I had my own back I was petrified I was But I had my own back and here is where it's g- grown me It's this is where it's moved me to If you have a desire and it's over there are you willing to do what it takes to make a decision today to have the courage Are you willing to make a power move to grow you to get to your dreams to your visions If you're not willing to nobody's gonna do it for you You've gotta do it for yourself This is critical Expansion outside of you in your world begins internally before it ever appears externally It's critical that we get this and it's critical that we know on the other side of crying on your first radio show and shaking on your first TV show that you're gonna be okay I didn't have a heart attack I didn't die I didn't die of embarrassment I grew

You wanna shift from from really selling all the time to really solving Clients don't buy products they buy outcomes So are you looking at what needs to be solved Are you bringing that to the table with your clientele so you can grow or are you out there constantly having conversations around you know sell sell sell sell sell I That it turn that turns me off when people are always in the sell mode I'm not interested in that I'm interested in what can you what problem can you solve for me and so is everybody else that's looking at you What problem do you solve And do you need do you have the energy behind it of "Please buy please buy," or do you have the confidence behind it of "This is what I do This is what I'm excellent at" Is that something that you can say with confidence or is that still something that pulls you Is that something that really ugh I don't believe it We gotta examine that We gotta look at what that is right You can start to start this entire process of the simplification in systems You could improve one system every week If you improved one system every week if you spent time each day looking at that system and coming back to it again and again don't look at it just once Come back to it If you came back to it every day and you looked at that system something's gonna pop differently You're gonna get more efficient at that and this is where those operational improvements can happen and that's where those simple systems can really get fine-tuned and start to grow your business right Every inefficient process does cost you money

And it's happened It's happened I've had people steal things I've had people speak poorly of me I've had people try to attack me I've had people rip me off not pay bills All sorts of situations have happened How did I get on the other side of all that By loving me by having enough respect for myself that I continued to grow myself You see what got me here will get me moving continuing and when I started to respect who I was and love who I was even through the moments of doubt even through the m- the amounts of times that I have just sat and cried for hours and hours and hours and I do that I'm a very emotional person You know emotions is what makes us human and that's something that is right on the cusp for me all the time but I've had my back through it all No matter what I have loved myself through it and you can do the same When you love yourself enough that you will have your own back you'll start to make power moves that work for you that work for you and your business
