💙 PECORE ICE TIME — THIS SUNDAY! 💙

Our first Pecore ice time is happening Sunday, September 27 at 8:15 p.m. at WFCU Place, and it’s open to anyone aged 16 and up who wants to come out and play!

Pecore is our recreational adult division. Players hit the ice on Sunday evenings, divide into teams and enjoy a friendly game of ringette. A referee is on the ice, but no scores are kept—it’s all about having fun and playing the game!

From September 14–20, we’re proud to celebrate the amazing coaches who make West Ferris Ringette possible. Thank you for showing up, leading by example and creating positive experiences for our players both on and off the ice!

🎓 FREE NCCP TRAINING FOR COACHES

The Coaching Association of Canada is offering one free NCCP eLearning module each day from September 14–17:

FUN1/FUN2 LEARN TO SKATE IS BACK! 💙

Our FUN1/FUN2 Learn to Skate program begins Sunday, September 27 and will run most Sundays at 4:15 p.m. at WFCU Place throughout the season.

🙋 CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!

We’re also looking for volunteers to help our youngest players learn, grow and have fun on the ice!

High school students can receive signed volunteer hours.
Volunteers are not required to attend every session.
Extra help will be especially important when members of the Nipissing Lakers are unavailable.
Volunteers will be added to our Volunteers Team on RAMP, where they can view the schedule and indicate their availability.

Curious about ringette? Here’s your chance to get on the ice and experience this exciting sport at no cost!

Stick around after the session to watch the Nipissing Lakers face Sudbury U19A in an exhibition game beginning at 5:00 p.m. It’s a great opportunity to see the speed and excitement of ringette at a high level!

We’ll have sticks available for everyone to use. Please arrive 20–30 minutes early for check-in and skate tying. We’ll also be happy to help with skates if needed!

Fall sort-outs for the 2026-2027 Rep teams are just around the corner. The fall sort-outs will be held for the FUN 3 (U10), U12B, U14B, U19B, and 18+B divisions.
