🐐🌾 Week 2 at Flicka Summer Camp was full of farm fun and unforgettable memories! ☀️🤸

Last week, our campers enjoyed an exciting field trip to Maplewood Farm, where they met friendly farm animals, explored the beautiful grounds, and learned about the important role farms play in our community. From feeding goats to spotting rabbits, chickens, sheep, and more, it was a day filled with curiosity, laughter, and outdoor adventure.

At Flicka, Summer Camp is about so much more than gymnastics. Along with learning new skills in the gym, campers enjoy exciting field trips, creative activities, games, and opportunities to make lasting friendships. Every week brings a new adventure!

Seeing the smiles on our campers' faces reminds us why summer is such a special time at Flicka. ❤️

🌞🌲 About Last Week at Flicka Summer Camp! 🦎✨

From exploring the breathtaking Capilano Suspension Bridge to getting up close with amazing animals during Mike's Critters, our campers had a week full of adventure, discovery, and unforgettable memories!

Our visit to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park gave campers the chance to experience one of British Columbia's most iconic attractions. From walking across the famous suspension bridge to exploring the rainforest trails and Treetops Adventure, the day was filled with excitement, exploration, and plenty of smiles.

Then, to wrap up an incredible week, Mike's Critters brought a fascinating collection of animals right to Flicka! Campers learned about reptiles, mammals, birds, and other incredible creatures through an interactive, hands-on presentation that had everyone engaged, asking questions, and eager to learn more.

At Flicka, we believe summer camp is about so much more than gymnastics. It's about building confidence, encouraging curiosity, making new friends, and creating experiences children will remember long after summer ends.

A huge thank you to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and Mike's Critters for helping make Week 1 such an incredible adventure! ❤️

Thank You for Celebrating With Us

Last week, our new gym officially became home. ❤️

Our Grand Opening Celebration was everything we hoped for and more. Seeing our gym filled with smiling families, excited athletes, dedicated coaches, volunteers, and community supporters made all the hard work behind this move worthwhile.

A special thank you to Mayor Linda Buchanan for joining us and helping officially open our beautiful new facility.

Throughout the afternoon, visitors explored our new space, watched incredible gymnastics demonstrations, learned about our Capital Campaign, and helped support Flicka through our 50/50 fundraiser.
