NOTICE OF PUBLIC SALE
MEMBERSHIP INTEREST – CENTRAL CANADA HOCKEY LEAGUE

May 21, 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) is offering for sale, by public process, a membership interest in the CCHL for the right to operate a Junior “A” hockey franchise within the Municipality of Pembroke, subject to the constitution, by-laws, rules, regulations, and approval requirements of the league.

The sale is being conducted on an “as is, where is” basis and is subject to all necessary league approvals, including approval of the purchaser by the CCHL Board of Governors.

Interested parties may submit written expressions of interest and requests for further information no later than May 28, 2026 at 6pm to [[email protected]] including:

Upon receipt of acceptable expressions of interest, the CCHL will provide the bid package to the prospective buyers.

The vendor reserves the right to reject any or all offers, to negotiate with any party, and to withdraw the offering at any time without notice.

Meet Karsyn. In 2024, Karsyn told her parents she wanted to be a goalie. Like any hockey parent, they saw the price tag and felt a bit of “gear panic.” After an initial trial where the heavy pads made skating tough, it seemed like the dream was on ice. But Karsyn isn’t your average athlete.
While driving home from their camper, Karsyn spotted a beer can in a ditch and asked her mom to pull over. Why? “I can put it towards the cost of my goalie gear.” With tears in her eyes, her mom pulled over. That was the moment they knew this wasn’t just a phase, it was a mission. Karsyn spent the next month cleaning up roadsides and collecting empties. On June 27, 2024, she walked into Pro Hockey Life and bought her very first set of pads and a blocker with her own hard earned money. 💰✨Fast forward to 2026. Karsyn outgrew her gear and had her sights set on a new set of True goalie pads (just like her idol, Dallas Slack from the Smiths Falls Rideaus). Despite the stressful economic times making it a bit tougher to purchase expensive equipment, Karsyn didn’t ask for a handout, she went back to the ditches. She took ownership of her dream once again. At Flarrow Hockey, we believe that talent gets you on the ice, but Leadership, Ownership, and Discipline keep you there. At the young age of 8 years old, Karsyn embodies everything we stand for.
