British Columbia has seen tragic losses this week with reported drowning fatalities, including three people on a fishing boat near Savary Island, two people in two separate incidents at a beach and boat ramp in Nanaimo, a person who was scuba diving in West Vancouver, an additional person scuba diving off of Gabriola Island, and a person whose vehicle plunged into the North Thompson River during an automotive incident in Kamloops. Our thoughts go out to their loved ones and communities.
