Happy

I know I am a little late posting this, but I couldn't let the passing of the legendary Dolly Parton go by without honoring her memory here.

Growing up in the mountains of Tennessee, Dolly dreamed of horses long before she ever owned one. As a little girl, she used to look at the gravel on the ground and pretend they were "pony seeds"—hoping that if she watered them, a horse of her own would grow. She eventually got her horses, but she never lost that childhood magic or that incredible mountain grit.

Dolly built an empire on hard work and pure heart, proving that you can sparkle in a million rhinestones while still living by a "down-home, common, horse-sense approach to life." She taught us that being a "workhorse" is a true badge of honor.

Rest in peace, Dolly. We're hugging our horses a little tighter today, channeling our inner rhinestone cowgirl, and remembering a woman who showed the world how to work hard, love fiercely, and never stop dreaming. ✨🐴❤️

The Prince George Horse Society has introduced a new Formal Complaint & Incident Intake Form to provide members, facility users and the community with a clear and consistent process for submitting concerns.

The new form provides different reporting pathways depending on the nature and severity of the concern, including Minor Complaints, Serious Complaints/Incidents and Code of Conduct concerns.

As part of the new process, a $25 administrative fee will apply to formal complaints submitted for review. This fee is intended to support the administrative time involved in receiving, documenting and processing formal complaints, while encouraging users to consider whether a matter requires formal Society review before submitting it.

If a serious complaint results in a formal investigation being opened, the $25 administrative fee will be refunded.

How are complaints handled?

Complaints are directed first to the President and a small complaint review subcommittee made up of members of the PGHS Board rather than automatically being shared with the entire Board or staff. Information will be kept confidential to the extent reasonably possible and will only be shared with appropriate parties when necessary to properly review, investigate or respond to the matter.

The complaint process applies to everyone. Concerns involving PGHS Board members may also be submitted through this form. Where a complaint involves a member of the complaint review subcommittee, that individual will not participate in the review of that complaint.

This process helps protect the privacy of those involved while ensuring concerns are properly documented, directed and reviewed.
