🚨 A judge has ordered the 17-year-old accused of stabbing three horses at a Las Vegas barrel racing event to remain behind bars without bail.

The decision came during a juvenile court hearing on Thursday, where the court determined that the teenager should continue to be held in custody as the case progresses.

The incident shocked the horse world after three competition horses were allegedly attacked inside the barns at the National Barrel Horse Association's Las Vegas Super Show. Authorities say the horses suffered multiple stab wounds, with one injury reportedly occurring dangerously close to a major blood vessel.

The teenager is currently facing 12 animal cruelty charges and three counts of property destruction.

Prosecutors are also seeking to have the case moved to adult court, a request that is expected to be considered during a future hearing scheduled for July.

While the legal process continues, the focus for many horse owners and fans remains on the recovery of the injured horses, whose resilience has inspired an outpouring of support from across the equestrian community.
