We mourn the loss of Len Fisher, a cherished member of our Callie community whose presence, kindness, and dedication enriched our club for many years.

We extend our deepest condolences and much love to his wife and family as they navigate this difficult time.

Len’s impact will be felt for years to come, and he will be remembered with gratitude and respect.

Rain couldn’t ruffle our feathers yesterday! 🌧️⛳🪿

Even with the steady rain, 15 amazing teams came out to support the Callie Golf Tournament, proving that a little weather wasn’t going to dampen our fun. Much like this proud goose leading its little flock, our golfers stuck together, laughed through the puddles, and made it a fantastic day.

The teams gathered back at the club for a delicious chicken and ribs supper, great conversation, prizes, and plenty of stories from the course.

A huge thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, sponsored, and helped make the day such a success. Your support keeps our Callie community strong.

Sometimes the best memories are made when the skies are grey. 💙⛳

🥌 Callie AGM 2026 – A Great Night at the Club!

The Callie Curling Club Annual General Meeting (June 23, 2026) was a success, with a great turnout, good discussion, and plenty of fun along the way.

Members received an update from the General Manager on the many improvements and upgrades completed at the club over the past year, and the audited financial statement was presented by the auditor.

We elected our new Board of Directors for the coming year, including two brand-new board members. Thank you to everyone who stepped forward to help lead and support our club.

We were also proud to recognize three deserving individuals on the Callie Honor Roll:

🏅 Len Fisher (accepted on his behalf by his daughter)

Their contributions to the Callie Curling Club have helped make our club what it is today. Congratulations to all three honourees! Their names will be added to the Callie Honor Roll plaque displayed in the club.

• Experience in youth sport, recreation, or program coordination

• A passion for working with kids and families
• Curling knowledge is a bonus!

Join us at the Callie Curling Club for a fun and interactive Youth Curling Camp on October 3–4, 2026! Designed for youth ages 11–18, this two-day camp will focus on skill development, strategy, sweeping and delivery techniques, mental and physical preparation, and game play. Participants will enjoy on-ice and classroom instruction, a mini-bonspiel, daily lunch, and the opportunity to learn from experienced instructors in a supportive and exciting environment. Cost is $175 per participant.
