“A new school lunch program is coming to every NB school starting in September 2026!

This fall, students across the province will have access to a healthy and affordable lunch program at their school.

• Lunches will cost $4 per meal for grades K-8 and $5 per meal for grades 9-12.

• Support will be available to families who need it to so no student goes without.

• More information will be available later this summer”

As part of Fundy Regional Service Commission's Sustainable Transportation Week and in co-ordination with Millidgeville North School, we're hosting a bike bus to school and back home again from Millidgeville North on June 3, and June 5, 2026!

Experienced, adult riders will accompany a progressively growing train of kids on bikes, providing exercise, socialization, and a little adventure before arriving to school. It's a growing movement around the world with loads of practical benefits.

We've created a Google sign-up document that contains complete details, route map, and general bike bus information. If you're interested in having your child attend, please fill out the form and submit your response.

If you're and adult interested in volunteering you're also welcome! Let us know and we'll get you sorted.

Please share widely so we can get as much participation as possible!

June 3 - East Millidgeville, beginning at Beach Crescent and Kennebecasis Drive
