Watch for players who embody the spirit of sport! Nominations are open for the Lazer Autobody Spirit of Sport Awards for Baseball, Football and Softball.

The Lazer Autobody Spirit of Sport Awards will be presented to athletes who have earned the respect of their teammates by continually and consistently displaying integrity, commitment, and sportsmanship, and who are catalysts in making everyone on the field of play feel like they belong. The award includes a cash prize for recipients.

Nominations can be submitted online at https://gordiehowesportscomplex.ca/awards/ . Nominations can also be submitted physically printing off the attached forms.

It was a big day during the final day today for the SSSAD’s Bob Adams City Track and Field Championship held at the Track and Field Track. Athletes were looking to earn berths at high school provincials which will be held here at the Track and Field Track on June 5 and 6. . . . .

The SSSAD’s Bob Adams City Track and Field Championship concluded at the Track and Field Track today. The city championship has been part of an extremely busy week with numerous meets at the Track and Field Track, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. . . . .

The action was very competitive at the SSSAD’s Bob Adams City Track and Field Championship concluded at the Track and Field Track today. While facing fairly hot weather conditions, the athletes were bringing their best efforts and giving it all they had on the day. . . . .
