Rick and his buddy were also in town for the Rush concert this week, and WOW did we lay down a beating on them this morning! Pretty much non-stop action going 11/16 on mostly good quality kings, 1 coho and a few rainbows. Super fun morning with these lads and not a ripple on the water while the fish were chewin'! Enjoy the show guys!

Another brutal battle this morning on the back deck of the Grady! Don came back this year with some more horsepower, bringing along his daughter Shai and her boyfriend. They had bites immediately and we struggled to get 4 rods in the water! What an awesome morning bite which was dominated on a single strip of The Big One Cut Bait Co. meat. No BS. 1 strip this morning is all we needed. This stuff is insane how many fish we caught on the same rig and strip all morning long again.

Don's a great guy and loves to fish. He also booked charters for his company guys as well, so I am looking forward to hosting them tonight and tomorrow on the water. Back to the office this evening for another tour! Lets go!

Another banger of a morning with Hal and Jeff back after rocking out to Rush last night. Round #2 this morning was lights out again. They landed a dozen fish including a nice atlantic and a rainbow trout on top of some good quality kings. Great bunch of dudes and a fantastic morning rocking out to Rush on the boat and catching fish! You know its a busy morning when I am splattered with blood head to toe! 🤣

Day 1 of 2 with Hal and Jeff from Florida crushing kings was a blast! They are also in town for the Rush concert tonight and wanted to catch a few fish beforehand. They leaned into a bunch of good kings - most coming in on MC Rockets down deep and a couple on spoons. We are out again tomorrow to see if we can find a giant and maybe a few rainbows too. 😉

Another epic morning battling kings on Lake O! Patrick and his buddies flew in for the Rush concert and wanted to get out and catch some fish. We cranked up a good Rush playlist and continued working the same pod of fish i was working yesterday which proved to be a smart decision. Within five minutes, we were doubled up and the morning didn't stop. We ended up 18/22, biggest king was 19.5lbs and had an absolute blast! Club day hanging out with my friends for a few pints and some food and back out this evening for some fun fishing!

An absolutely wild evening! Patrick and his family joined me all the way from Luxemburg hoping to land their biggest king. They have salmon fished before but mostly in rivers and never anything above 10lbs, so I had my work cut out for me. Well these guys showed them who owns the lake the entire outing. Landed 5 fish in the first 45 mins, 2 bows and 3 kings and proceeded to smash fish all evening. As the sun was coming down, we tripled up and landed 2 of the 3 fish biggest being a pig at 21.5lbs. We finished 12/18 and lost a bunch of those bites down deep. Mission accomplished and a trip for the books!

Another day slaying kings! This morning I had Mark and his son from Massachusetts, hooking up on a great meat bite landing a dozen or so kings. These guys had a blast and will be back next summer for another beatdown!

This afternoon, Pat and his family joined me who are my good sledding friends from up in Cochrane. Pat and his dad actually used to fish Lake O for salmon back in the day too, so we have all been looking forward to this one and wow it was worth it. They absolutely crushed them all afternoon long. Landed a pile of good kings and we lost 4 more good ones there towards the back half of the trip. We will have to get Davie some more practice fighting these fish 😉!!! What a day!!! Safe travels boys.

Stellar day on the lake today. The morning was sporty but Jeff and his son are hardcore and braved the 3 footers and rain with me. His son caught his biggest fish ever which was a solid king that came in on moonshine raspberry carbon spoon. Killer spoon this year. We had a blast and they boated just shy of 10 fish on the deck!

Afternoon/evening was with Catheryn and her 2 boys all the way from LA. Started out super slow and then we leaned into them, boated 5 kings and lost 3 more. All fish were coming in on fake meat and flies, stacked up all along the drop in front of Bluffs.

Doubled up again tomorrow! Lezzzzzgo!

Yesterday evening was a blast hosting Jeremy, Melissa and their boys who hooked into a few really nice kings and landed their biggest catch ever! They are local to Toronto and love to fish but have never been on the big lake for salmon. Glad we were able to get them on a few good kings!

This morning I hosted Andreas and his son Martin all the way from Mexico! They hooked into some nice kings and 9 year old Martin takes the credit for biggest fish of the morning at just under 20 lbs!

Its going to be full on the next 2 weeks as bookings are full for mornings and most evenings. Lets hope the fish stick around and are chomping!

This one goes down in the books as one of the funniest trips i have had with these 2 awesome kids. Alan booked a charter for his sons Henry and Charlie along with their grandparents, who are all visiting from Atlanta. And boy do these kids love to fish! They were stoked to see what our fishery is all about, and are not strangers to catching big fish. We got them hooked up on a pile of rainbows and then went in to try and find them a good king. They were patient and ended up smashing a huge king on the way in that we thought was gonna be for the scales. Unfortunately, it ended up being hooked on the side and took us a solid thirty minutes to get to the boat. The 2 of them, along with their Grandpa reeled in this beauty 21 lber to cap off an awesome evening together on the water. You can see his battle wounds from the pics! 🤣 What a hoot!
