Field Trip Friday is back!! Today the Sunridge crew spent the day exploring one of Edmonton’s favourite attractions, the Edmonton Valley Zoo

From getting up close with animals to wandering the beautiful pathways, it was the perfect way to enjoy a gorgeous afternoon (without rain for once) while learning more about the amazing wildlife that calls the zoo home.

Whether you're visiting with family, friends, or coworkers, the Edmonton Valley Zoo is great for for all ages. We can't wait to visit again!

We have a small but mighty crew that stays on with us all year-round. We all hear the same question when we tell someone where we work:

"So, what do you do in the summer?"

The truth is, winter wouldn't happen without our summer team. Crucial maintenance takes place all season long, both out on the hill and in the rental shop. But it's not just upkeep, we're constantly making improvements to the hill and chalet so your winter experience is better than the last. Our summer crew plans and organizes events, gears up to hire 200+ employees in the fall, and lays the groundwork for future summer operations.

And that's exactly what we want to talk to you about. We're exploring what summer at Sunridge could look like and we want to hear from you. What would you love to see here in the summer months?

Due to the heavy rain this week, today was the final day of the season. 🌧️

Our grooming team worked hard to preserve the hill, but the warm weather and rain caused too much damage to continue operations.

Unfortunately, we’re CLOSED today due to the heavy rain that rolled in this morning.

It looks like it’ll stick around for a bit, but the forecast is looking much better for tomorrow with colder temps and fresh snow. ❄️

We’ll give the hill some time to dry out and let the groomers work their magic overnight. We’ll be back open Friday!
