Super proud of this group. Not only was it their first tournament, it was the first time all 12 skaters were on the ice together, AND THEY WON GOLD!! gets tournament MVP with 7 goals, 1 assist and 6pms in 4 games! ?

Moments. It’s what we live for isn’t it? Moments that lead to great stories? This was one of those moments and it STARTED 8 years ago. It starts with a young man who comes to me, maybe depressed, maybe sad, maybe a little broken and lost. Maybe I show him a new path, a way of life that is different from where he is. Maybe years go by and this boy becomes a young man. Maybe I casually mention he should play football. Maybe he becomes the MVP. Maybe he buys in and changes his life completely. Maybe that teenager grows to become one of the strongest, most confident young men you’ve ever seen. Maybe he smashes strength records everywhere he goes. Then maybe one day that young man comes and does his practicum with you, at your gym, one he helped create. Maybe that child is now a man and making everyone around him incredibly proud. Imagine, all this from a moment, in a bar, with a buddies girlfriend asking one question. “What do you do Shawn?” A moment sealed in time, a moment that changed numerous lives, including mine.
Happy 20th birthday Luc. It’s been a hell of a story so far.

Scorpions... meet another one of your amazing coaches this season. Hello my name is Drue Schnitzler and I have been playing hockey for about 15 years now. I played with the Sherwood Park Kings for 5 years and now I am currently playing for the SAIT Trojans while pursuing a Bachelors of Business in marketing. I have always wanted to take my passion for hockey to another level with coaching and now I am very excited to help young female athletes pursue their love for hockey, on and off the ice. I am super excited to get to know everyone and to take on a different role in hockey!

Hello my name is Haylee Iverson I am a passionate former D1 college hockey player who has transitioned into coaching, driven by a love for the game and a desire to help others succeed both on and off the ice. I played at the collegiate level in the United States while pursuing nursing. Fun fact about me… I scored a natural hat trick in my first ever collegiate game. After completing my athletic career, I channeled my passion for mentoring and leadership into coaching, guiding young athletes to realize their full potential both on and off the ice. I am 21 years old and in addition to coaching I own a business in medical aesthetics. I am super excited to get to know each and everyone of you and push you to be the best you can be!

We have added one more "The Right 6" hockey strong training group. There is room for 5 more hockey players looking to increase their strength and conditioning and take their game to the next level.
