Chili Lime Tofu Tacos

How good do these tacos look? I love mean, however, I like changing it up once in awhile and having tofu!

I was looking for tofu taco recipes a few days ago and saw this on one of my FB followers pages - thank you for posting this and the recipe!

.. I think tomorrows meals has been decided!

Mmmm.. this is seriously The Best ๐Ÿ™Œ ( Recipe below) ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ

Treat YourSelf

Over the last 6 years I have drank MANY shakes, many brands and various recipes.

..maybe I am picky when I choose a shake... but whats the point to drink a shake simply because it is a shake? What do you Specifically look for when choosing a shake for Your body?

I personally like my shakes to help support good overall health in my body! I choose shakes that are full of antioxidants that help protect my body from harmful free radicals. I look for gluten free, vegan shakes, digestive enzymea added, protein to build / repair my muscles and one that is a good source of omega 3 fatty acids... OHHHH and we cannot compromise on taste!!!

..where do you find a shake that includes all those things..

๐ŸŒŸ..... recipe for this delicious Cookies and Cream Shake Below ๐ŸŒŸ

1 cup unsweetened almon milk
1 cup ice
1 scoop Vanilla plante based protein ( message me for the specific one I like yo use)
4 chocolate graham crackers,
1 cracker sheet, broken into large pieces

Instructions

Place almond milk, ice, and Shakeology in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Add crackers; cover. Blend until just mixed

Who else can admit that they are struggling in one of these, two of these, or 3 or more of thrse areas?! I know I sure can!

>>>Sleep is a tough one for me with working many 16 hour shifts with very little sleep in between the next shift.... Which means I usually don't eat the best, my workouts are not as good as they could be and all of that raises my stress levels ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

A solid grade in all your classes is needed to achieve your A+ body.

๐Ÿค” I have found a few tricks to stay on track with these long days and little sleep.

Week 1 is in the books!

Headed in to week 2 with more physical strength & the mental strength to pull me through the toughest of days!!

This program has quickly become one of my favourites ! My physical results thus far have spoken LOUD ๐Ÿ™Œ๐ŸคŸ๐Ÿ’ช

As you know I share my journey of fitness on this page as well as in my instagram stories. Sharing my journey is important to me to make sure I stay accountable to my own workouts and to inspire you to live a more active life through whatever it is you enjoy doing.

Today I was asked numerous times if I will be running another online support group soon.

๐Ÿ”ต... And the answer is YES ๐Ÿ’ช

๐ŸŸฃI am opening up a virtual bootcamp mid August, where I will be pushing, sweating and completing my daily workouts with you!!! I will share exactly what I am doing each day (even my slip up days, because we all have those!)
and how I manage my workouts with a busy shift work schedule.

The Group starts August 16th, with access the week before (August 9th) to get our mindsets ready for the bootcamp.

As usual, I limit my spots to keep the group small and interactive to help push You through those days you feel like giving up!!! ... except, this time You will Not be giving up ๐ŸŒŸ

As much as I love the new hair... I still scare myself when I look in the mirror and see this brunette staring back at me ๐Ÿ˜†

Has anyone else experienced that feeling after dramatically changing your hair?

This picture brings me on a trip down memory lane.

A lane that was long before I was born!

It isn't often I sit here and polish my boots. But each time I open this black shoe polishing box my mind starts to wonder...

.. This box was given to me when my grandparents were cleaning out their garage a few years back.

This box belonged to my Great-Grandfather and when I firset opened the box I found the tools and the polish he used to shine his shoes.

My Great-grandfather passed away before I was born, and if he hadn't I would have been too young to appreciate this box and the stories this box could tell!!

.It sometimes takes me hours to get that perfect glass like shine. A sore wrist and forearm and alot of patience.

I know I usually shine my boots and chit chat, sometimes have a beer and sit on the front deck, listen to music, think about my day, sometimes I polish them at work and laugh with my collegues...

I have used this box during happy moments ljke when I graduated from the training academy. And somber moments when polishing my boots to stand pround while honouring the life of a brother/ sister.

Each time this black box is near me as it was near him.

I wonder what the stories this box must hold and the memories it could share.

Today, a package arrived for me, not gonna lie I forgot what I order LOL

inside this package included the tools to help me make healthier snacking choices, eat healthier meals, and stay on track with my fitness goals ๐Ÿ€ ... THis is a SLAM DUNK, and exactly what I need.

As I flipping through the nutrition guide I cannot believe these meals are on my "meal plan". It is like this nutrition guide was put together for ME ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ™Œ

.. but honestly, how great do these recipes look (droool)

Here we go, getting started on a newier, healthier journey away from the unhealthy snacks!

The truth... I almost said f*ck it to my workout today.

ใ€‹Work was long ... busy
ใ€‹It is hot, muggy and raining
ใ€‹My dogs are going nuts & my laundry is piling up.
ใ€‹I have a million other things that I would be rather doing.

Anyone else ever lack to motivation to get up and workout?? Well, you aren't alone!!

I had to think of the reason behind my workouts to get motivated to move my butt.

..One of my reasons...

To be strong ๐Ÿ’ช Simple. As. That

I like to be able to toss my kayaks over my head and on to my roof racks without help (of course I will always accept help ๐Ÿคช) and they aren't light!!

I like to go hiking and not be limited by my fitness levels or abilities.

I like to have the strenth and energy to do thing things in natural that I love...

.. and. that. is. One. reason. I. am. motivated. to. workout ๐Ÿ™Œ

To Be Strong, simple as that!
